Lorrie was careful. She used an international number to communicate with her boss, making it harder to track her down. But it wasn't impossible.

Blake made dinner early at night and went upstairs to call Rosalie to eat. But he found her fast asleep in bed. She had been looking after Evelyn a lot these days and was very tired. Blake didn't want to wake her up, so he just tucked her in better. However, his movements woke her anyway.

Rosalie was surprised to see him next to her bed with a caring smile. "When did you cin?" Blake remembered he had just walked in, so he scratched his head, feeling a bit embarrassed. 'I called you for dinner, but you didn't answer. I was worried something might have happened. Turns out you were just really tired. Go back to sleep, I won't bother you. I can warm the food later if you get hungry." Rosalie felt touched by his concern. "It's okay. I'll get up and eat now." She tried to get out of bed but felt dizzy all of a sudden.

Blake asked, "What's wrong? Are you feeling ill?" "I'm fine. Just dizzy from not resting well lately." Rosalie rested for a moment and then got up. "Let's go." But when she turned to see why Blake hadn't moved, he suddenly picked her up.

"What are you doing, Blake?' Surprised, Rosalie instinctively held onto his neck.

"Hold on tight. I'll carry you downstairs." Blake had a cheeky grin, and his ears were red.

Rosalie ended up being carried to dinner. She complimented the meal to make him happy, saying, "It's very good.' Blake was thrilled. "Then I'll cook for you every day.'

Rosalie felt awkward because she didn't mean it. She wondered why he O couldn't tell she was lying. The fish was too salty, the pasta was too hard, and the pork ribs were too spicy. She couldn't eat spicy food.

But seeing how hopeful Blake looked, she couldn't tell him the truth. She was also thankful because he had been helping a lot at hwhile she cared for her aunt. "Okay, thank you."

But then Blake said something unexpected. 'Since you've eaten my cooking, you have to be my om girlfriend." Rosalie choked on her pasta. She coughed and looked at him with wide eyes, confused. 'Why?'
