Chapter 646 Test Her Out
In the study room upstairs, Wayne was frowning at Randy. 'Get someone to keep tabs on
the Walters, especially Graham Walter. I need to know what he’s up to lately."
"Dad, what are you suspecting?" Randy was curious.
"A few of our business contracts ran into problems. I suspect that someone has been
sabotaging us." Wayne did not get to where he was without his shrewdness. The problems
he identified were minor, buttheir sudden emergence puzzled him.
Randy immediately grew wary. "Is someone sabotaging us? Who? The Walters?”
'I don’t know. It’s just a guess." Wayne started suspecting Graham because the man had
recently acted bolder and more irreverent toward the Glasses.
Randy frowned with a resentful look in his eyes. "That’s possible. Graham Walter has been
upset with us for a while. He’s just holding back all along." He was sure that Graham was

might be more powerful than the Glasses, but they were not strong enough to hurt them.
Wayne shared the same understanding and said, "That’s why we need someone to keep
tabs on Graham. We need to know what he’s up to and who he’s met with.”
"Sure, I will get that arranged." Randy nodded.
"We have nothing to fear if the Walters want to make a move against us- we might even
get something good out of it. I’m only worried if...”
Randy didn't need Wayne to say it out loud. He was smart enough to figure out the
possibility that the Walters might collaborate with someone else to take his family down. If
that were the case, the Glasses would be in a crisis.
"Test Jenny Walter out if you have a chance. Let's see how capable she is," Wayne
suggested. At this point, they had no choice but to take her seriously.
Randy nodded. He understood the complexity of the situation, which might even concern
the survival of the Glasses. He could not afford to be careless.
Meanwhile, Jenny, unaware of the conversation between the father and son, wracked her
brain over the night but failed to figure out if Alec still had feelings for her and whether he
was hiding his feelings. Finally, she gave up on thinking, refusing to interpret the logic
behind his actions. Plus, she was too occupied with work to waste time on him.
The next day, she returned to work at the Walter Inc office. Her collaboration with Hunter
Meyers won her some reluctant acknowledgment from her colleagues. They finally put
aside the suspicion that she had used her privilege to get ahead, and they begrudgingly
admitted that her hard work had brought business to the company.
"Jenny." Cherry came up to her.
Jenny nodded at her. "Did anything happen in the company over the past few days?"
"Nothing happened. But you and Jolene were both absent. Everyone guessed that the two
of you weren't returning." Even if the two privileged daughters of Graham Walter decided

was no point hustling away for monthly wages. At least, Cherry wouldn't do so.
Jenny chuckled when she imagined how Jolene was not in the mood for work at the
moment.
"Jenny, is Jolene getting engaged to Brandon Britt for real?" Cherry asked in a hushed
voice. It was a rumor that made rounds in the company, and she was curious about it.
Jenny raised an eyebrow, looking surprised." Where did you hearthat from?"
"Everyone in the company is talking about it." Cherry smiled wryly. She couldn't have
avoided learning about the gossip even if she had wanted to.
"Just wait for the announcement. If the news is true, we will hear about it today." Jenny did
not offer a conclusive reply, but she knew that Graham would never change his decision.
She believed that the Walters and the Britts would release a joint announcement of the
happy news soon.
