Chapter 611 But Who Would Care?
To take down the Glass family, the Walters and the Windsors were enough.
Alec wasn't necessary to the plan, but Jenny had personal reasons.
Alec had only just arrived in Bardoff City. He was at a disadvantage in every area. If she let him in on their plan,
they would be able to prove his abilities. Moreover, he'd benefit from it and be able to develop his company even
faster.
But then she thought for a bit and decided not to talk to James about the Glasses. They could talk about it when
Alec came back. If they talked about it now, they would take action before Alec could come.
She was about to speak, but then someone ran over. "James."

were friends.
Jolene was stringing Brandon along and hitting on James at the same time. That wasn't very nice of her.
James looked at her and said nothing, but the dislike in his eyes was apparent. "Let's go, Jenny.’
Jenny nodded and was about to get into the car, but Jolene wouldn't give up so easily and pull at Jenny’s arm.
"Jenny, where are you and James going? Can I tag along?"
Jenny was speechless. She admired Jolene's boldness. "No can do, sister,” she declined, smiling. She didn't care
about Jolene's stiff face.
"I just want to hang out with you. I don't have any other intentions. Can't I do that?" Jolene grew pouty. Anyone
would think that Jenny was picking on her.
Jenny was about to speak, but then James walked over and pulled Jolene away, taking Jenny's hand. "I'm not letting
you," he said coldly. "It has nothing to do with Jenny."
"James..." Jolene pouted, but her heart was in a rage. Why was Jenny being treated so well? Couldn't Jolene
compare to her?
Jenny shrugged, exasperated. "You heard your man. It's not me. He's the one who doesn't want you coming along.”
James' face hardened, and he glared at Jenny. Since when had he become Jolene's man?
"Get in the car.”
Jenny didn't say much else. She got in the car and left with James. Through the rearview mirror, she could see
Jolene still standing where she was. The hatred was clearly visible in her eyes.
But who would care?

Neither of them talked about Jolene in the car. Jenny was silent, saying nothing.
James saw how quiet she was and thought she was worried about her business. "What are you thinking about? Are
you worried about the sales reports?"
"No." Jenny shook her head. She had not worried about it at all. She dared not brag about her talents, but she was
sure that even if she weren't part of the Walters, she could still bag a few clients.
Of course, that was only if no one decided to sabotage her. She was the Walter family's eldest daughter, after all.
There were pros and cons of being who she was. No one would want to pick a fight with her.
Well, except for Rowena Glass and Jolene Walter.
"Don't you worry too much. How could I be your senior if I couldn't help you with this?" James didn't think it was an
issue. He could randomly select two projects from the companies under the Windsors, and Jenny would ace the
sales reports.
Jenny looked at him, a little embarrassed. "I'm honestly not worried about it, James. You don't have to help me."
"That's true. I'm pretty confident in your abilities." James didn't press the matter. He knew of her personality. If she
didn't need help, he didn't have to meddle. If he did, she wouldn't appreciate it.
