Chapter 507 Don’t Blame Me for Being Ruthless

Jolene ended up being unable to hit Jenny. She was being held back by her mother and couldn’t move at all.

Graham didn’t explode because of this, but he warned, “If you dare to lay hands on your sister again, don’t blame

me for being ruthless.”

Jenny had just come back. He dreadfully wanted to give her the best of everything he could. Hel naturally would not

condone any bullying toward her.

Jolene was so angry that she trembled all over. She looked at her father as if she were looking at a stranger. “Have

you ever thought of me as your daughter, Dad?” Graham had never been nice to her all these years. But the

moment Jenny returned, she was enjoying something that Jolene never had. How could she accept that?

“I wonder if you’re even my daughter.” On one side was obedient Jenny, and on the other was the proud, arrogant

Jolene. Graham wished he didn’t have a daughter like her.

Rowena flared up at once. “What do you mean by that, Graham? Don’t you dare go overboard!”

“What are you getting so agitated for? I’m just saying.” He truly was just making a statement. Why was Rowena’s

reaction so over the top?

“Of course I’d be agitated. You’re humiliating me,” Rowena said.

Graham snorted and ignored her. He looked at the maids. “Get the food out.” He walked over to Jenny, kindness

spreading on his face. “You’re probably hungry. Let’s eat.”

“Alright.” Jenny nodded and followed behind him.

They walked toward the dining table. Rowena and Jolene stood rooted on their spots, staring at the two of them

with raging anger in their blood.

“Why did you stop me, Mom? Are you protecting that bitch, too?” Jolene clenched her fists, wishing she could hit

Jenny.

Rowena sighed exasperatedly. “Jolene, your father will definitely protect her right now. The only one who will suffer

is you.”

“Are you going to let her trample all over me?” Jolene couldn’t accept it.

“Don’t worry. I’ll find a way. This is Bardoff City, and Jenny is an outsider. Even with your father protecting her, he

can’t always be by her side. There will be an opening.” Rowena smiled, already having a plan in mind.

Jolene felt better at once. “That’s true. I don’t believe that we can’t get to her.”

As long as they could get rid of Jenny, Jolene would have Graham as her father all to herself. No one would shatch

him away from her.

They walked toward the dining table. Jolene sat in front of Jenny and looked at her coldly, but she didn’t start a fight.

Graham and Jenny chatted amicably over dinner. “There’s to be a party tomorrow. I shall bring

you there to introduce you to everyone,” Graham said. Since he had decided to make their family business public,

he would have to introduce her to everyone. Then, they would know that he had her back.

Jenny didn’t refuse. She had just come to Bardoff City and barely knew anyone. If she wanted to stay there, she

would have to know people.

“Alright.” She nodded.

Rowena frowned. She said at once, “Jolene has nothing going on tomorrow. Why don’t you let her bring Jenny over?

They’re sisters. They should bond together.”

Graham’s gaze fell on Jolene, doubting if she would comply.

“I was wrong, dad. I couldn’t accept it so suddenly,” Jolene apologized, knowing her mother’s intentions. “Jenny just

came to Bardoff City. She probably doesn’t know anyone. I’ll take her

around so she won’t feel too lonely at the party,” Jolene said with a smile, losing her ferocity from before.
