"These chains are among the magic treasures of the darkness race. They are full of dark nature," said Old Lady Meng.
With a reflective look on her face, she added, "It seems that this infinity beast was chained here by the darkness race...
And that's very strange, because the infinity beast is legendary for its great power and strength. | cannot imagine why even the
darkness race would dare to provoke him in this manner.
Perhaps the darkness race bears a grudge against this infinity beast."
Austin paused for a moment, thinking about what Old Lady Meng had said.
"Can these black chains be broken?
| consider myself a friend of the infinity beast race.
If I can rescue this fellow, | will,"
he said firmly.
Old Lady Meng smiled. "Oh? You know the infinity beast race?
Well, in that case we must do everything in our power to rescue this infinity beast.
After all, the enemy of our enemy is our friend.
If we rescue this beast, who must be angry at being imprisoned here by the darkness race, then we can count the infinity beast
race among our allies in the future,"
she said, nodding in agreement.
Austin used his spiritual sense to probe at the black chains restraining the infinity beast. After several seconds of this, he stepped
back, frowning.
The black chains were emitting a very strange aura.
He could tell that it would be incredibly difficult to destroy them.
"Look," said Austin. "Do you see the engravings on the chains?
They seem to be suppression arrays.
They are continuously absorbing dark energy from the surrounding space to suppress the powers of the infinity beast.
Because this space sea is a stronghold of the darkness race, it means the energy reinforcing these black chains will never be
exhausted."
He continued studying the black chains with his spiritual sense, looking for any weakness in the links.

The only way to save the infinity beast was by breaking these black chains apart.
Austin soon realized that the chains were not only engraved with numerous suppression arrays, but also with tiny unique symbols
of the darkness race.
These dark symbols trembled and moved back and forth along the chains, like little black tadpoles with a life of their own.
Austin sighed. 'Well, it seems that in order to destroy these chains, | have to break not only the arrays on the chains, but also the
runic laws of the darkness race.
Given enough time, | could study them at my leisure, and work out a way to destroy them...
However, we are in the lair of the darkness race, and tis against us. No doubt they will soon realize we are here, and attack us.
They know | have killed a wizard of their race. By now, they must have alerted even the gods of chaos of the darkness race,’
he thought, wondering what the best course of action could be.
The thought of encountering the gods of chaos of the darkness race gave Austin a deep sense of foreboding.
At his current level of strength, he was not afraid of any governing gods, regardless of their realm or strength.
But the gods of chaos were another matter. His only option would be to retreat.
Old Lady Meng had reached the sconclusion. "Austin, I'm afraid we don't have enough tto rescue this infinity beast.
| suspect that sgods of chaos of the darkness race are already on their way here,"
she said gently.
Austin gritted his teeth and said,
"Lethave a try.
| need to at least give this my best effort. If this attempt fails, then we will go ahead without saving the beast."
He quickly took out a teleportation rune left by Pastor.
He planned to activate the rune and teleport himself away as soon as the gods of chaos arrived.
Then he returned his attention to the dark chains, probing with his spiritual sense, trying to break them apart.
Suddenly, the chains began rattling.
The sleeping infinity beast had been roused by Austin's actions.
As the enormous beast shook himself awake, the chains along his body clanged loudly.
He opened his eyes and stared at Austin.
Austin saw that the huge, deep eyes were filled with anger.
"What is this?" said the infinity beast.
"A human aligned with the darkness race? What are you doing here? Are you trying to get yourself killed?
Even with these chains, | can kill you effortlessly if | want to."
The beast had a loud voice that rumbled and reverberated like thunder,
and he possessed a terrifying tenergy that crashed immediately into Austin.
Austin was stunned to realize that the sound of the infinity beast's voice had affected the passage of tin the space where he
stood.
His body aged rapidly, as though tens of thousands of years had passed in the blink of an eye.
He felt mortality pressing down heavily upon him.
As a governing god, he had a lifespan that would seem like infinity compared to that of a normal human, but in that instant he felt
that death was knocking at his door.
'The cultivation base of the infinity beast race rests on the manipulation of time! This is amazing!"
Austin thought, unable to suppress his admiration for the beast even as he felt the effects of his attack.
"Austin, hurry up and use the law of reincarnation to fight back!
If you delay any longer, the law of twill weaken you until you can no longer resist!"
Old Lady Meng said telepathically and urgently to Austin.
They both felt awestruck at this casual display of power.
Indeed, a full-grown infinity beast was terrible and fearsto behold. This increased Austin's determination to save this beast
and form an alliance with his race.
As Old Lady Meng had instructed, he used the law of reincarnation.
Immediately, chains flowed out of Austin's body,
circling around him like ribbons floating in the air.
These chains were made of the law of reincarnation, and they began countering the influence of the law of temanating from
the infinity beast. Soon, the passage of tslowed, becoming less terrifying than before.
"Looks like the law of reincarnation of our race can stand up against the law of time.
After all, the law of reincarnation itself contains the mystery of the law of time.

| think that once you cultivate the law of reincarnation to a high enough level, even an infinity beast wouldn't be able to do
anything to you,"
Old Lady Meng remarked placidly.
"That sounds right,"
Austin agreed, feeling pleased.
It gave him a great deal of satisfaction to conclude that if he was strong enough in wielding the law of reincarnation, he would be
immune to attacks based on the law of time, like that used by the infinity beast race.
"What are you doing?" demanded the infinity beast, sensing Austin's countermeasures.
"You have actually cultivated the law of reincarnation! And it is the most authentic one, too.
Are you from the reincarnation race?
Why are you here?
Don't you know this is one of the lairs of the darkness race?
Isn't the reincarnation race the sworn enemy of the darkness race?"
The infinity beast fired the questions at Austin one after another, for by now he was very curious to learn more about the human
who had awoken him and then resisted the law of time.
"As you said, | am a member of the reincarnation race," said Austin honestly.
"lI chere by accident.
A wizard of the darkness race escaped our clutches and traveled here, so | followed to hunt him down and kill him."
The explanation seemed to perplex the infinity beast even further.
"Are you serious?
You are chasing a wizard of the darkness race?
And you're planning to kill him?
It's not possible!
Any wizard of the darkness race would detect and stop you before you could even get close,"
declared the infinity beast. Clearly he doubted Austin's claim.
The infinity beast reasoned that despite this human's adroit use of the law of reincarnation, he was still only a level-one governing
god, so there was no way he could kill a wizard of the darkness race.
