Chapter 2025 Breakfast

Ian leaned over to lift Cindy up. "I'll shower you." With that said, he carried Cindy over to the bathroom in their

bedroom. Cindy knew that there was no point in resisting when Ian was being so aggressive, so she just wrapped

her arms around his neck before resting her head against his chest.

He carried her to the shower, and he stripped her clothes off in a rough manner. They had a small bathtub in the

bathroom, but they went over to the rain shower instead. She knew that he was in a rush, but she didn't know that

he was in such a rush. He didn't even tease her for long before getting into the real stuff. She wasn't fully prepared

yet, so she squeezed his shoulder. "Slow down a little."

He gave her a kiss. "You haven't answered my question. Do you miss me?"

She nodded. Her mind was blank, but her mouth seemed to have a life of its own. "Do you have a close relationship

with Valerie?"

Ian wasn't in the mood to talk about Valerie. "Why would you talk about someone else at a time like this? You're not

focused. I'll have to punish you." Indeed, Ian gave her a severe punishment that left her in tears. She pummeled

the air as she lay on the bed under him. "You nasty man. You're so rude!"

Ian, on the other hand, wore a look of satisfaction as he held his hand up to protect his face. "What happened to all

the fight in you? Weren't you better at this the last time?"

She sobbed and pouted while looking at him with reddened eyes. Her cries weren't the same as her usual ones, so

Ian leaned in to hug her. "You can't blame me for this. We just haven't had a proper conversation in a long while."

Cindy's lower body felt like it was on fire, and she pushed him away after lying in bed for a while. "Go away. I don't

want you to hug me." Then, she got out of bed and threw one of Ian's shirts over her head before going into the

bathroom. After some contemplation, Ian sat upright in bed and followed her to the bathroom. However, Cindy had

locked the door. "Do you have to follow me to the toilet?"

He laughed before turning away and lying down in bed. It had been a while since he got any action, and he finally

felt satisfied. He pulled his phone out to find a text from Hannah. She was reminding him not to start any rumors

while he was on his break. Hannah didn't know that he and Cindy were going to host an engagement party—all he

told Hannah was that he was going home to deal with some matters. Hannah probably assumed that Ian was going

home due to some issues with the Morgan Family.

Ian lowered his phone. Cindy hadn't come out from the bathroom yet, so he stood up to change the bedsheets.

Then, he lay down and found a comfortable position to lie in. Soon enough, he started feeling drowsy.

Cindy had taken another shower, and Ian had already shut his eyes by the time she came out. She let out a long

sigh. She no longer felt angry at him, so she simply found a new set of clothes before lying down on the bed and

curling up in Ian's arms. She finally felt safe now that he was lying beside her.

Both of them were on leave the next day, so they both got to sleep in. In the end, they only woke up when Aurora

gave them a call. Their flight was in the afternoon, and Aurora had called them to ask what time they were

planning to leave the house. But the moment she heard their voices, she knew both of them had just woken up.

Aurora could understand why they slept in, so she simply asked them what they wanted for breakfast and offered

to send their meal over to them. It was actually way past breakfast time. Ian rolled over and wrapped his arms

around Cindy as he replied to his mother, "Anything's fine."

"I'll go buy you guys some food, then. You should get out of bed now and make sure you got everything. You don't

want to be late for the flight. We should arrive at the airport a little earlier."

"Okay," Ian mumbled. He only opened his eyes after ending the call.

Cindy had woken up too. "What time is it?" she asked as she turned to look at him. Ian glanced at the clock on his

phone. It is getting pretty late. Both of them took their time to get out of bed and brush their teeth. They had just

finished getting ready when Aurora came over with her luggage.
