As Naomi had no idea what happened between her and Ian, Cindy decided to act as though nothing happened and
ask casually, “What is it? I was away from my phone yesterday because I had a headache and went to bed early.”

don’t have anything important to tell you, actually, and I just called to check on you because I was worried that you

argument was, you shouldn’t have left in the night. It’s dangerous.”
Feeling uncomfortable, Cindy withdrew her hand. “Let’s talk inside.”
Both of them went into Cindy’s room, and once they were inside, Aurora couldn’t help but say, “I went over to Ian’s
place this morning and saw him on the couch alone. From just one look, I could tell that he didn’t sleep a wink last
night, and I knew that something must have happened between the both of you. But no matter how I asked him
