Elegante Group became the biggest competitor of Hiltons Corporation, and the Hiltons attempted to kill Leon time

and time again to either bring down the company.

However, the Hiltons were still a respected house, so they could not simply commit murder and robbery on the

surface, so Devon decided to attack Leon, using Joel's injury as an excuse.

On top of that, the Thompsons were the head of all families in the southern region with great power and influence.

Though the Hiltons and Spears outnumbered the Thompsons, they would still suffer great losses if they tried to fight

the Thompsons, which hardly benefitted the Hiltons in any way.

Devon preferred Arthur and the others to back away, so that the Hiltons could eliminate Leon with ease.

"This sly old man!" The Southern Boss's expression darkened.

He could tell that Devon did not wish to fight the Thompsons, but the Southern Boss had a different plan in mind.

He tried to lure Arthur into betraying Leon, only to buy time for the Hiltons to arrive. Since the Hiltons arrived, the

go. Hence, Devon's reluctance to fight the Thompsons went against his plan.

have their heads today! This has nothing to do with the Hiltons, so I advise that you stay out of it, or we will show

you no mercy!" Arthur roared, not knowing that he was playing right into the plot of the Southern Boss and Devon.

"Who told you that the Hiltons have nothing to do with this? Since you've already found out that Yonas was killed by

Rodney, I might as well tell you the whole truth! Rodney was not the only one involved, and so was Mister Joel!" The

Southern Boss said.

He made a point to mention Joel's name to make sure that the Hiltons had no choice but to remain on the Spears'

side; once Arthur found out about Joel's involvement, the Hiltons would not be able to hide and would be forced to

fight the Thompsons.
