Chapter 631 Punishment For Losing The Game

Since Cedrick intentionally performed poorly during the game and Kieran was an amateur, Gwendolyn confidently

scored the final point.

Gwendolyn and Inez won the spontaneous water volleyball competition by the skin of their teeth. They played seven

rounds and triumphed over the opposition team four to three.

“Darling, you’re indeed amazing at this. I admit defeat and willingly accept punishment.” Cedrick’s jet- black eyes

overflowed with affection while the corners of his lips curled slightly.

Kieran added, “We aren’t sore losers. Inez and Gwendolyn, we’re at your disposal.”

Inez glanced toward Gwendolyn and was about to ask her about the punishment when she noticed the latter giving

Cedrick a meaningful look.

Gwendolyn was perfectly aware that Cedrick had gone easy on them when they scored four points consecutively

toward the end. It was on a completely different level from the three powerful spikes he initially aimed at them that

they couldn’t possibly return.

She dove underwater, holding her breath as she circled the net on the water’s surface to reach Cedrick.

Cedrick was entranced by his wife’s graceful swimming strokes that resembled a mermaid.

Gwendolyn grabbed his ankle from underwater while he was still relishing the view of her perfect figure.

She maneuvered her grip strategically and successfully pulled him down under.

There were barely any splashes on the pool’s surface.

Cedrick didn’t struggle at all and slowly opened his eyes underwater to stare blearily at the aggressively dominant

Gwendolyn.

Gwendolyn hooked her arms around his muscular waist to hold him underwater and sealed his shapely lips with

hers.

It contrasted with the butterfly kisses she typically favored.

Her pearl-white teeth bit into his lips as if she was chastening him for being lenient on her.

Cedrick’s brows furrowed slightly at the sting on his lips but eased quickly.

He wrapped his arms around Gwendolyn’s slender waist and lost himself in the amorous underwater kiss.

Their bizarre behavior threw Kieran and Gwendolyn off their feet.

They exchanged glances and stared at the sweet couple underwater, feeling satiated by the generous public

displays of affection.

Their kiss lasted for a minute. Gwendolyn finally released Cedrick’s lips, and they both floated to the water’s

surface.

Gwendolyn secretly struck Cedrick’s bottom while no one noticed on their way up.

However, it was nothing more than a painless embarrassment due to water resistance.

The tips of Cedrick’s ears were red by the time they broke from the water’s surface. Besides, his sexy lips were now

swollen from being bitten.

Gwendolyn’s kiss had an intent of admonishment.

A hint of surprise graced Kieran’s eyes as he focused on Cedrick’s lips before silently leveling an admiring gaze at

Gwendolyn.

Her fiery energy proved that she was a true daughter of the Harris family.

He enquired. “Gwendolyn, are you done meting out punishment yet?”

Gwendolyn’s lips curled slyly. “Of course not. That was a private score I was settling with Mr. Jenson. However, I’ve

decided on a penalty for the competition

The three others in the pool turned their heads toward her and were curious about what she’d come up

with.

Cedrick rubbed his swollen lips and waited uncertainly for Gwendolyn’s pronouncement.

Gwendolyn swept her gaze past everyone playfully. “The penalty is for Mr. Jenson to do a hundred push- ups.

Cedrick let out a breath of relief.

Kieran and Inez were in disbelief. Did she leave us in suspense only to reveal such a simple punishment?

“It seems like Gwendolyn still pities her husband. A hundred push-ups would be a piece of cake for a man, like him

who used to train in the army. I bet he’ll finish it in one go without breaking a sweat,” Inez uttered.

Kieran followed up. “What about you, Inez? Perhaps I should do a hundred push-ups just like Cedrick?”

Gwendolyn took in the looks on all three of their faces, and her expression became increasingly amused.

“I’m not done yet, Kieran. Why are you in such a hurry? I’ll be sitting on Cedrick while he’s doing his push-ups. In

addition, he has to use his core strength to burst a hundred water balloons simultaneously. If his torso accidentally

touches the ground, it won’t count

Kieran and Inez’s mouths dropped open.

“A hundred water balloons?” Inez was dubious. “Water balloons are exceptionally elastic and notoriously difficult to

burst. Furthermore, his torso isn’t allowed to touch the ground. Isn’t this too challenging?”

Cedrick pursed his mildly swollen lips and imperceptibly heaved a breath of relief.

He had no problem doing push-ups regardless of their difficulty level.

Thankfully, Gwendolyn hadn’t chosen to smack his bottom in public. Otherwise, it would be terribly humiliating

Gwendolyn had no clue what he was thinking of and beamed at him. “Mr. Jenson’s core strength will determine

whether or not he’s up to it.”

There wasn’t a man in the world who’d admit to having a weak core.

Punishment For Losing The Game

“I accept my punishment. Let the staff prepare the water balloons immediately.”

Kieran and Inez had nothing more to say when the victim himself accepted his penalty willingly.

Despite that, Gwendolyn’s punishment was too much for Inez. While she and Kieran had done the deed and his

stamina in bed was decent, she wasn’t clear about his limitations,

As such, she reduced Gwendolyn’s punishment by half and bid Kieran to do fifty push-ups and burst fifty water

balloons instead.

Kieran was unhappy with this arrangement. “I insist on doing a hundred push-ups like Gedrick.”

Accepting the lighter punishment of fifty push-ups alluded to his stamina being poorer than Cedrick’s by fifty

percent.

His male pride forbade him from admitting defeat at such a crucial aspect.

Inez eyed him helplessly. Her thoughtfulness for his wellbeing had backfired when the dense Kieran became even

more motivated to outperform Cedrick.

All the staff at the pool went off to prepare two hundred water balloons at Cedrick’s instruction

There were many onlookers stealthily hiding around the pool’s railing. They had heard about the water balloons

being used as a prop to be burst by the two men while doing push-ups and were eager to witness such a spectacle.

Gwendolyn, Cedrick, Kieran, and Inez swiftly exited the pool and moved up on land.

Cedrick and Kieran obediently got into position and were ready to begin their drill.

The evening sun painted half of the sky crimson. The heat on land had not yet dissipated completely, so much so

that their palms could still feel a lingering warmth on the floor tiles.

Gwendolyn and Inez promptly sat atop the backs of their partners. Beside them were several massive pails that

contained water balloons. Aside from acting as weights, their duties included placing the water balloons underneath

Kieran and Cederick.

“Are both of you ready?” Gwendolyn queried attentively.

The two men hummed a sound of agreement.

Inez imitated Gwendolyn by placing a water balloon on the floor tiles below Kieran.

Thus began the first push-up.

The arms of both men bent as they brought their full weight down on the water balloons. Nevertheless, the

elasticity of the water balloons was not to be trifled with.

Their bodies almost touched the ground, yet the water balloons showed no hints of popping.

Cedrick and Kieran maintained the same posture for several minutes. The veins on their arms were bulging, proof

they were giving it their all.

This was when Cedrick realized this punishment was not as simple as he’d thought it would be and that Gwendolyn’s

idea had more to it.

Both men were already struggling with the first push-up when there were ninety-nine more water balloons still to

go.

Cedrick took a deep breath and asked Gwendolyn gingerly, “Darling, what if I fail to complete the one hundred

push-ups today?”

Gwendolyn suppressed her laughter and eyed him impishly. “It seems to me like Mr. Jenson and Mr. Kieran better

train harder to improve your physiques since both of you can’t even make it past the first water balloon. If so, we

won’t return to the hotel tonight. I’ll reserve the pool area the entire night, and we’ll only depart once both of you

have reached your target.”
