Chapter 28 Annoyed, Leopold's face was just as icy, “| don’t have an interest in others affairs. If you insist on dragging me into a web with some insignificant woman, then | can grant you your wish.” Elowen recoiled, daring not to speak again. If that little minx got involved with Arnold, she'd certainly be shown the red card by Leopold.
After dinner, Aurelia took a shower once back home. It was just her and Laura at home, so she dressed casually, slipping into a camisole nightdress before getting out. In the middle of the living room, a tall figure caught her eye, causing her to startle.
“Mr. Leopold, what brings you here?” Aurelia asked.

He approached, step by step, and his imposing shadow gradually engulfed her, “Do you think | don’t know about your little schemes?” Aurelia instinctively backed away, until her path was blocked by the wall. The man’s aura was too overpowering and domineering, making it hard for her to breathe. “What schemes?” Aurelia asked.
She was so innocent and harmless. How could she have any malicious intent! Leopold's hands braced against the wall, trapping her in a corner. His gaze darkly fixed on her. Her nightgown was somewhat sheer. Its pale pink hue accentuated her glowing skin.
It was worn over bare skin.
He was a head taller than her, and from his vantage point, he could take in the gorgeous sight in full. A light fragrance emanated from her hair, acting like a catalyst and causing his body to suddenly tense. His blood vessels subtly expanded.
Damn it! Realizing his own reaction, he became even more irritated. Had she anticipated his arrival, so she deliberately dressed in such a way to tempt him? “You're indeed cunning.” Leopold said.
Aurelia didn’t understand a thing, staring at him with a blank look. Her heart was pounding. “I didn’t do anything, really.” Aurelia said.
She didn’t have to do anything. Just standing there was enough to stir his flame. He'd never had desires for women, but at this moment, it was unusually intense and uncontrollable. Loosening his collar, he headed to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of mineral water, downing most of it in one go to cool down and regain his composure.
Aurelia, staying close to the wall, slowly and quietly made her way to her room, hoping to escape. Just as she reached the door, he caught her.

What a sight! Leopold felt as if a string of flames was rushing toward his forehead, igniting all his hormones and swelling. inside him as if about to explode. He quickly twisted open the bottle and finished off the remaining icy water.
Aurelia, blushing crimson in embarrassment, quickly wrapped herself in a blanket and covered up to her neck. He'd seen her naked again. She felt like crying. Tears were welling up in her eyes. “Can you leave, please?” Aurelia asked.

She was startled, and looking at him in panic with her eyes wide-open, “What are you doing?” His handsome face was almost touching hers, and his hot breath constantly brushing against her face, making her skin so hot it felt like it was going to burn. “Isn't this what you wanted?” Aurelia really didn’t understand what he meant, not at all. From the moment he came in, everything was confusing. “I just want to sleep, okay?” Aurelia said.
“With whom?” Leopold asked. His deep, icy eyes gleamed mysteriously under the light. His voice was hoarse, as if scorched by heat waves.
What? Aurelia was stunned, but soon felt something off. Although she was inexperienced, she did have basic physiological knowledge. So clear and obvious with such a strong reaction, how could she not notice? He despised her so much, and looked down on her, but still...
God, men really were creatures whose emotions and physical responses could be disconnected!
