Chapter 879
Taya firmly shook her head, “I’m not going.”
As a mated woman, she had a certificate and it wasn’t suitable for her to attend a bachelor party.
Emelyn didn’t wait for her to refuse, “It’s settled then, I’ll come to pick you up tomorrow.”
Taya sighed, “Ms. Davies, even if you come to pick me up, I still won’t go.”
The woman in the dress didn’t answer, only smiled and left, wrapped in a fox fur coat. Her slender and
graceful figure looked carefree and natural. Even the most beautiful things in the world
couldn’t compare to Emelyn’s casual and natural
demeanor.
Taya watched her leave and breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, Emelyn’s love interest wasn’t Griffon,

She picked up her water and took a sip, looking toward the direction of the study. It was quiet
inside, and she didn’t know what the two of them were talking about.
In the soundproof study, Griffon leaned back on the leather sofa, his long legs lazily crossed together.
Under his beautifully arched eyebrows were a pair of deep and dark eyes, staring at Holden, who had
the same cold temperament, across from him.
“Mr. Davies, what do you mean?” Holden sat up straight from the sofa, his elbows resting on his knees
as he looked up at Griffon.
“This is the last mission. As long as you complete
it, my foster father will agree to let you leave the S
organization.”
“My back injury hasn’t healed yet, and you want

me to go. Do you want me to die there?” Griffon sneered coldly.
Holden didn’t answer, he shook his head. “Greyson, our people who have entered Erebus, none of
them have come out alive, except for you.”
“Although you are injured, only you can do it in S. My foster father hopes that you can help S one more
time.”
Griffon shook his expensive handmade leather shoes, seeming indifferent to the matter. “I said years
ago that I wouldn’t get involved in anything that happens overseas.”
“But you are the Alpha of S, aren’t you?” Holden asked.

how I got out of Erebus?”
“I don’t know…”

Griffon turned his head and looked at the mating photo of Taya and him on the desk. “I promised her
that I would return to the country within two days, otherwise I wouldn’t survive the life and death game
in Erebus.”
He stared at the photo for a while before slowly retracting his gaze, scanning Holden with a clear and
cold look. “If it were before, even if I had to sacrifice myself for S, it wouldn’t matter. But now, I have a
family.”
He had a family now, and because of that, he couldn’t disregard his own life. It was precisely because
he had a family that he wanted to leave S.
But Master Davies was right. When he was young, he borrowed the power of S to strengthen himself.
When he was asked for help, he wanted to leave. Where in the world does such a good thing exist?
But Erebus…
