Chapter 441 Jyn’s Scheme

“That’s right, Caspian and Willow have already flown out of Southlake City. Why are they heading to

Easton now? Are they fleeing because they’re scared?” Ginger asked after nodding.

Morrison Group had started their attack. The company’s latest product caught the attention of the

masses due to Mia acting as their spokesperson. Any new product of theirs was sure to become

popular overnight now.

So, Willow didn’t want to launch her counterattack in Southlake City. But why did she go to Easton,

then?

“I know Willow. She definitely wouldn’t run with her tail between her legs!” Jyn shook her head. She

hadn’t interacted with Willow much, but she knew Willow wasn’t one to give up.

All of a sudden, Jyn grinned. Ginger was caught off guard by this.

“Get me tickets to Easton now. I’m dropping by for a visit,” Jyn ordered.

While Ginger wanted to know the purpose of Jyn’s sudden Easton trip, she didn’t dare to dig further.

“How do you feel about going to Easton with me?” Jyn turned to ask Mia.

11

‘Sure! I’ve been wanting to take in the sights at Easton myself. Let’s go together.” Mia nodded. Shortly

after, Jyn and Mia got on a flight to Easton.

Over an hour later, Caspian and Willow left Easton Airport.

Southlake Corporation had opened a branch office in Easton, and the Easton branch was now a

significant subsidiary.

At the moment, Easton was peaceful since its underground forces had been wiped out. “Willow!”

Rebecca greeted respectfully. She and Keller had been waiting outside the airport for ages. Rebecca

wore a mask to conceal her identity.

“Rebecca, it’s been a while,” Willow replied as she hugged her.

“Mr. Lynch,” Keller greeted. Now, he knew how big Caspian’s influence was.

There were plenty of rumors surrounding Caspian. He was said to be heavily involved in the downfall of

Easton’s Four Noble Lineages. So, Keller showed Caspian his due respect.

Caspian nodded but didn’t greet him back. All four of them got into a car to make for Starsphere Media.

Over time, Starsphere Media had developed into one of Easton’s top companies.

“Here are Starsphere Media’s transactional documents from last month, Mr. Lynch,” Keller anxiously

said as he handed a sheaf of papers to Caspian inside his office at Starsphere Media.

“You don’t have to give me those. You two are now in charge of the company. All you need to do is

ensure that everything is up and running,” Caspian replied as he waved his hand dismissively. He

couldn’t be bothered to look through those documents anyway.

Keller was moved by the trust that Caspian had in him.

Meanwhile, Willow and Rebecca were off talking at the side.

“You have to help me, Rebecca, or Southlake Corporation is done for,” Willow begged.

Rebecca felt bad. “Of course I want to help you, but I’m not sure if I can,” she answered, worried.

Rebecca knew she would be going up against the nation’s most famed celebrity, Mia. While she had

also gained a certain degree of fame, Mia was in a completely different league.

“Believe in yourself. I trust you, and this will raise your profile too. You know how everyone in the

entertainment industry will throw themselves at you if you can show Mia up!” Willow grinned as she

grabbed Rebecca’s hands.

Rebecca was sure to make waves if she could attract more attention than Mia.

“Okay. I’ll do it,” Rebecca answered, determined.

Upon hearing Rebecca’s reply, Willow felt like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. She was

confident now that she had Rebecca’s help.

as

“Don’t worry, Rebecca. You’re still on the rise. You’re sure to surpass Mia as long as you seize the

opportunity,” Caspian assured her while smiling.

“Thank you, Mr. Lynch!”

Caspian’s words made Rebecca feel important.

“By the way, Starsphere Media will be shifting its focus. We’ll quickly conquer the market in conjunction

with the release of Southlake Corporation’s latest product!” Caspain said to Keller. “Got it!” Keller

nodded.

Meanwhile, at Easton Research Center, Jyn looked across the desk to meet the director’s eyes. Easton

anyone but them.

“If Southlake Corporation wants to launch a new product, then they need the consumer data to do so.

Since we have carefully controlled their access to this data, they’re sure to lose,” said the director,

Gunnar Porter.

Gunnar didn’t dare to mince words with Jyn. She was the heiress of the Morrison family and the CEO

of Morrison Group. The research center could kiss its run goodbye if he were to anger her.

And that was why Gunnar turned down Southlake

Corporation’s request.

“But that document isn’t the only copy of the consumer data they wanted. They can get access to that

data in time.”

Jyn knew her situation, but at the moment, she needed every second she could buy.

As long as she could get her product out before Southlake Corporation could, then Morrison Group

would dominate the market. It would be impossible for Southlake Corporation to snatch back that

market share by then.

Jyn wanted to know Willow’s choice. Willow could only choose either Caspian or Southlake Corporation

and not both.

“You’re right, Ms. Morrison. What should I do then?” Gunnar asked.

“Give them the data once our product hits the market. Do you know why I came all the way to Easton

myself?” Jyn asked as she twirled a lock of hair.

Gunnar shook his head. He had no idea what was in Jyn’s mind.

“I want Southlake Corporation to go bankrupt, and I want Willow to feel powerless. It’ll be too late for

her to do anything once Morrison Group establishes its position in the market!”

Gunnar shuddered at Jyn’s words. They felt like a crushing weight on him. She was absolutely

terrifying.

“Understood,” Gunnar acknowledged.

“Morrison Group will invest another 500 million dollars into the research center if things go smoothly!”

Jyn stated with a smile.

“Thank you so much!” Gunnar was overjoyed as he left the office.

Jyn was pleased as punch. Her gaze was sinister.

“Caspian will be mine, Willow! I’ll ruin your life since you want him!”
