Chapter 7054 Dorvus and several Emperors strode toward Youcef the next instant.
However, before they could reach him, Youcef directed a beam of colorful light at those men and sent them flying away. "Enough!" Youcef's voice reverberated through the space. Everyone halted at that moment.
"I am the chief commander of today's operations." Youcef bellowed, "All of you are to follow my commands. As I've mentioned, no one is allowed to interfere in the battle betweenand James Caden.
"Those who do will be executed immediately!" Youcef raised his hand and grabbed at the air. In the distance, Dorvus was simultaneously lifted in the air by a mysterious energy. "You! You challenged my authority over and over again. Die!" He cast a lethal blast in Dorvus' direction, but a ball of purple light cquickly from his left just then. It snatched Dorvus away and moved out of the trajectory of Youcefs attack.
Youcef stared at Hankin, who stood to his left, with bulging eyes.
He never imagined his master, whom he had the utmost respect and admiration for, would someday do something similar to what his cunning and shameless father would do.
Youcef could not tell anymore if Hankin had changed or if he had always been pretending to be someone graceful and virtuous.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Young Master, have you forgotten about what your father has entrusted you to do?" Hankin knitted his brows. Youcefs expression hardened.
Hankin's final remark was both a reminder and a subtle threat.
With that, Youcef finally realized what kind of man Hankin was. His kind and upright demeanor was all a facade.
That still did not make things any easier for Youcef. He still had to choose between resurrecting his mother and fighting James or following his principles and giving up reuniting with his mother.
Whichever decision Youcef ended up making would make him suffer equal levels of guilt and agony anyhow.
While Youcef was distracted for a split second, several God-Kings managed to surround and subdue him.
Then, he was dragged to where the Marauder Army was. A group of their men was tasked to watch over him.
James observed everything that was happening from where he stood.
While he felt sorry for Youcef, James also seemed to have gotten a full grasp of the situation.
"James Caden." Hankin turned around and pointed to James. "You have two options. Firstly, exit the Gate of Mystery right now. We'll forget all this has happened.
"If you won't, we'll kill you right here. You will lose the chance to be reborn again forever." Morgott grumbled, "What a load of bullshit..." James waved his hand dismissively and signaled Morgott to stop.
Then, he took two steps forward and looked at Hankin. "Alright, it's about tyou guys are done with the act.
"You should get serious and catall at once. My patience is about to wear out." James showed no fear as he said all that.
He also made it very clear that he had no intention of negotiating with these people.
The corners of Hankin's mouth twitched. "James, you're a smart man. Yet, you are..." Before he could finish, James swung his arm and cast a purplish-gold sword light into the air.
The purplish-gold sword light hovered in the air and emanated a bright light.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmIn the blink of an eye, countless physical swords were formed in the sky. The swords shot toward the one hundred thousand warriors found below almost instantly.
Boom! Boom! Boom! An oval-shaped purplish-gold light shield appeared above the Marauder Warriors just in time.
All the swords generated by James were destroyed as they hit the purplish- gold shield.
A few seconds later, the shield gave way and shattered into pieces as well.
The impact generated from the collisions tore the hundreds of Marauder Warriors nearby into pieces and sent those body parts flying away.
James narrowed his eyes at the sight of that.
On the other hand, Lesia, Yianni, and Morgott were left absolutely dumbfounded.
Opposite them, the Twelve God-Kings, eighteen Emperors, and Dorvus dissolved into roars of laughter.
