Chapter 1568: Gathering All Beings with a Hint of Talent Selena smiled sweetly, thinking about the man who would soon accompany her on a journey to face an uncertain future. She reached up and caressed Osvaldo's face. "Osvaldo, | will be very good to you from now on." Despite being unsure of everything, she indulged herself and fell in love with a man.

And she was determined to stay with him forever.

Osvaldo saw the tenderness and seriousness in Selena’s eyes and chuckled softly. "You little troublemaker." Selena smiled mischievously, wrapping her arms around his slender neck and kissing him passionately.

That afternoon, news broke out from the research institute that shook the entire city of the capital.

Diana had finally found a way to reopen the Sacred Pearl! The news spread like wildfire overnight throughout the city, even reaching as far as Zone Six where it caused quite a stir.

It had been almost half a year since Sacred Pearl was last opened. Everyone had given up hope that Diana would ever find a solution.

So when news broke out that she finally found it at this time - how could anyone not be shocked? After the shock subsided, everyone's gaze almost instantly focused on Miss Turner.

In the capital city, it was well known that both Diana and the Shaw family hated Selena to the core.

Diana possessed a skill that could control life and death. With Sacred Pearl in her possession, who would be her first target? Undoubtedly, it would be Selena! Under these circumstances, Selena was undoubtedly in great danger.

But upon further thought, while Sacred Pearl had immense power, it required a three-month hibernation period after each use.

Unless Diana could use Sacred Pearl to kill everyone from both the Turner and Anderson families at once, she would be doomed! Two days later Lab 717's owner -the true owner of "Sacred Pearl"-would personally come to the capital to retrieve "Sacred Pearl"! This news immediately caused an uproar throughout the capital. Everyone who heard about this-from those working at the capital Research Institute or Central City Research Institute- nearly went crazy with excitement because they knew that Sacred Pearl's owner was a legend within mechanical circles; rumored to have an extremely high status yet never appearing publicly before anyone.

No one had ever imagined that in their lifetime, they would have the privilege of seeing the supreme being in person.

As soon as all the mechanics in the capital received the news, their eyes lit up with fanaticism and they began preparing eagerly.

Everyone was looking forward to the arrival of "Sacred Pearl's" owner.

In this situation, Diana's discovery of how to activate "Sacred Pearl" seemed insignificant.

Upon hearing this news at her small villa, Selena simply laughed it off.

Leia furrowed her brow and looked extremely serious. "Madam Selena, what should we do now?" If it were just Diana alone who activated "Sacred Pearl," there would be no need for concern. But if its owner were coming personally to the capital...

The malice towards Selena from Central City was so obvious.

What if Sacred Pearl's owner was also coming to kill Selena? With their mechanical talent, it would be impossible to guard against them completely.

Selena smiled and patted Leia's hair. "Go get me a piece of cake from the kitchen." Seeing how relaxed Selena looked only made Leia swallow down her worries as she went off to get some cake for her.

Selena got up from the swing wearing her slippers and walked into the garden, looking towards the direction of Riddle Group's empire. She dialed a number on her phone.

The person on the other end picked up quickly, and Bruno's eager voice came through the receiver. "Baby, what's wrong? Tell me, did someone bully you?" When Selena was engaged before, Lauren had asked if she wanted to invite people from Lab 717.

After careful consideration, Selena refused.

Before they could identify who was behind "Sacred Pearl," Bruno and his team showing up in the capital might startle them.

But now things were different.

Since they dared to come to the capital and provoke her publicly, they naturally had to be prepared for a severe face-slapping! Selena smiled. "Teacher, there is an important meeting at the the capital Institute in two days. Do you have time to attend?" "Yes!" Bruno immediately made an excuse; Selena even heard him telling someone to pack his bags. "Baby wait for me; I'll be there on time!" Selena's lips curved upwards. "There is one more thing: unexpected things may happen at that time so please prepare yourself beforehand.” The sound of packing stopped abruptly as Bruno asked with a sinister tone: "Baby, did some shameless bastard bully you again?" Feeling his unwavering support and bias towards her warmed Selena’s heart. "Teacher," she said softly "someone has been bullying me so please come personally support me..." Bruno felt both heartbroken and angry at once."Don't worry baby," he said fiercely "I will take revenge for you against those bastards!" After arranging everything over the phone call with Bruno hanging up almost immediately after their conversation ended; she received a call from The Turner Family shortly afterward.

Patrick said, "Selena, don't go anywhere right now. Wait for me to come pick you up." Selena nodded in agreement.

Forty minutes later, Selena followed Patrick back to the Turner family's home. The living room was filled with people, including some of the most powerful figures from Zone Six. The atmosphere was unusually serious.

When Selena walked in, everyone's eyes fell on her. She was a 19-year-old genius mechanical engineer and head of Lab 717 at Capital University - an inheritance from her family's laboratory business. If she hadn't been abandoned as a child, she might have become a true commander...

She embodied all of the Turner family's talents and strengths.

It was such a shame...

This seemed to be everyone's thought when they saw Selena.
