Chapter 953 A Threat From Elisa
Linda's eyes were filled with bitter resentment, and she was dying to tear Elisa into pieces.
Elisa glanced at them indifferently and said, "You willingly participated in the hacker's transaction, so please don't
think I swindled you out of your money. In fact, I've been very gracious to you during the meeting. You may take the
profits over the past years; I just want the shares."
"In your dreams!" Norman flared up. "I'm left with nothing because you've extorted all my money. How dare you
ask for the shares?!"
Linda's eyes turned bloodshot as she was boiling in anger.

be hundreds of millions in debt and become everyone's laughing stock by then. It's your call."
Linda and Norman were so exasperated that they were at a loss for words.
They could tell that Elisa was serious – she was not joking or threatening them!
Elisa continued calmly, "You have three days to consider. If you still can't decide by then, get ready to receive the
court summons."
"Elisa Bennett, do you really want to make it a big deal and expose the Benetts' scandals to the public?! After all,
we're a family. We shouldn't bring the matter to court!" Norman yelled hatefully.
Elisa gazed at them with a half-smile. "But your attitude doesn't seem like you're willing to settle things out of court.
I'm saying this one last time – if you're willing to give up on the shares, you may keep the profits earned over the
past years. However…"
Elisa paused briefly before continuing, "If you refuse to return the shares to me three days later, then forget about
it. We shall meet in court!"
With that, Elisa lost her patience and blurted coldly, "Now, get out of here, Norman Bennett!"
"You!"
Norman trembled in rage and scowled, "Fine! You rascal!" After that, he stomped away.
He did not even manage to sit on the chairman's seat after he entered the meeting room today.
Linda was driven mad but couldn't care less about the others now. If they could crush Elisa within the next three
days, all their troubles would be gone.

At that thought, Linda walked out of the meeting room. She was clever enough not to immediately call the
mysterious man after returning. Instead, she called Rose and told her about the incident.
Rose was flabbergasted when she heard the news. "I can't believe Elisa will go this far!"
"She fell out with us in front of all the directors. She snatched the chairman's position, and dad was utterly
embarrassed in the meeting. The shareholders who originally pledged loyalty to dad turned their coats and sided
with Elisa! All of them are cowards!"
Linda raised her voice toward the end in despair.
Rose furrowed her brows but did not answer. Linda blurted anxiously, "Say something, Mom. What should we do? If
we continue to allow Elisa to drive us to the corner, we'll be doomed!"
