Chapter 1013 Say No More and Drink
"I'm not getting out!" Vincent sat stubbornly in his seat and had no intention of unfastening his seatbelt.
Frustration flashed through Gareth's eyes. Finally, he blurted indifferently, "Call Jeremy."
Staring at Gareth, Vincent said nothing and called Jeremy.
"Why is it at this hour?"
"What else can it be? Come and drink at the old place."
Vincent's tone sounded normal, but Jeremy noticed the tinge of annoyance in his voice, so he thought something
had happened between him and Rachel.

"See you."
When Vincent hung up, Gareth was already driving toward the bar they used to hang out at.
Half an hour later, the three men drank in the private room.
Jeremy was clueless about what happened, but he observed the sullen expression of Vincent and Gareth. "Did
something happen between you and Rachel?" He asked.
Vincent answered sulkily, "It has nothing to do with Rachel. It's Gareth."
Jeremy looked at Gareth, who was drinking in his world, looking cold and hostile. He turned back to Vincent and
asked, "What happened?"
Vincent could hardly contain himself and babbled on about the incident. He did not exaggerate the situation but
ranted about Gareth's dumbness.
Gareth's face clouded over, but he did not stop Vincent.
Jeremy's eyes briefly shimmered with a complicated expression crossing his face. He sighed and looked at Gareth.
Perceiving the latter was still drinking in vexation, Jeremy commented, "You know she's unsafe and not in a good
state, so you went to visit her. This has exposed your intention."
Gareth furrowed his brows and said nothing, so they could not tell if he was ignoring them or waiting for them to
continue.
Vincent did not chime in but poured a glass of wine for himself. They were close friends, so he was exasperated to

see Gareth take no action after the woman he liked.
He was dismayed because he knew things could become complicated if Gareth missed his chance.
Suddenly, Gareth croaked, "Say no more. Let's drink."
Jeremy stared at Gareth and continued, "Do you actually know what you want? It's not a matter of whether Elisa is
suitable for you. She's a human. If you don't like her, you should let her off. You're aware of the truth – you've
mistaken her before this. Everything was part of Linda's scheme. Elisa is innocent."
Gareth frowned and darted a displeased glance at Jeremy.
Vincent smirked. Serves you right! You ought to be taught a lesson!
Jeremy was unconcerned about Gareth's feelings. "If you don't like her, let go of her and let Will pursue her.
Besides, you guys have divorced and are no longer related to each other. Elisa is a clever woman. She knows how
to make the best decision for herself. So why do you have to meddle with her affair?"
