Inside Heaven and Netherworld, everyone spent the next seven days in peace.
Two larger groups formed during this time. One was the Magic clan headed by a magician named Jake Davenport. He was the one who had given the clan its name, and the others did not really care that much.
Both Nash and the girl were part of that clan, which currently housed 15 members.
The other clan was headed by a man named Alfius. That clan only had eight members and was smaller than the one Nash was in. Meanwhile, Sven continued to survive by himself. Both clans had taken an interest in his survival and fighting abilities and extended invitations to him to join their clans. However, Sven did not seem interested in joining either of them.
It could be said that he was not interested in relying on anyone else.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtNash had a different opinion. He knew that trying to survive in a highly populated area would be difficult, but that was something to figure out later. The island was filled with all sorts of dangers, and it would be harder to survive alone compared to living in a community.
Besides, living in a community meant he would not feel lonely-unlike Sven, who had spent the past couple of days talking to his bonfire. No matter how physically powerful someone was, there was no avoiding the mental torture.
On day eight, the voice belonging to the God of Equilibrium rang out once again.
If a massive bonfire could be built and set alight, everyone who took part in the construction would get an additional three points. Upon hearing that, everyone in both clans immediately began bustling about. They worked among themselves to cut down trees and chop them into firewood. Things were in full swing.
Sven did not immediately get to work after hearing the announcement. His shelter was nestled in between where the two camps were, so he decided to stay put and watch. There were more than enough trees in the mountains, and he had also stocked up on plenty beforehand out of boredom. It would not be difficult to build a bonfire.
Sve finally began work when the afternoon rolled around and both camps were almost done.
He gathered plenty of firewood from the land near his shelter.
Just as he was about to head back, he noticed something odd in the overgrowth nearby. It was difficult to tell what was wrong because of how messy everything was. From a distance, it just seemed like the grass around it.
However, when he got closer and saw what was buried in the grass, he was shocked.
It was a competitor. To put it more precisely, it was the body of a competitor that had gotten ripped to shreds.
Sven was shocked. He had been living nearby for almost a month but had not noticed any wild beasts nearby. What was going on? After taking a closer look, he also noted that there was no animal excrement nearby. How had this person...
Still confused, Sven looked around him. Then, he caught sight of something a distance away that immediately answered all his questions.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmSven had figured out the God of Equilibrium's scheme.
However, he had a choice to make. Should he tell both clans about this discovery? In the evening, both camps lit up their as sang. However, Nash did sin hot entires and danced aro it not take part in the festivities. Content belongs to en.kikistories"That's odd," he mumbled to himself.
"What's the matter?” Jake asked as he sat down beside him.
"It's nothing. I'm just letting my imagination run wild," Nash hurriedly ended the conversation.
Although it had been a couple of days since arriving here, he still had not gotten close to the others.
To him, the fact that one could lead a group made up of such diverse individuals was not to be looked lightly upon. That was why he did his best to reduce the number of times he cinto contact with Jake. Content belongs to en.kikistoriesQUMS After all, his body was purely mortal now. Though he was able to defend himself in physical fights, he was still at a disadvantage when it cata to mind games-especially against crafty old foxes like Jake. Content belongs to en.kikistoriesEveryone sang and danced around the fire until late at night.
The sound of a wolf howling stopped everyone in their tracks.
Everyone gazed in fear at the direction where the sound had cfrom.
A pack of wolves was making its way toward them! "Everyone! Quick! Grab a weapon and a torch!" Jake called out frantically.
However, everyone was already scared out of their wits. Sran away helter-skelter while scontinued screaming in fright.
