Chapter 332 Find Trouble With The Woman
When Wendy came out of the stairwell, her calm expression suddenly changed, she scampered into the toilet,
gritted her teeth, then gently bumped her plastered arm against the wall. For the next few seconds, pain was
written all over her face.
Looking at the clock, it was almost time for Melody’s daily visit. Wendy hurriedly climbed the stairs and
returned to her ward.
Her arm was already in severe pain. After climbing six to seven floors in one breath, Wendy’s forehead was
covered with cold sweat by the time she returned to her ward.
Byron was waiting in the ward. Seeing that she had not come back, he was about to call her when he heard
movement at the door.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Byron, you're back." Wendy's voice sounded a little desolate.
Byron nodded noncommittally, "where have you been?"
After Rosalie left with the little boys, he went to the orthopedics department to look for Wendy, but he did not
see anyone. Hence, he returned to the ward, but she was still nowhere to be seen.
Wendy pursed her lips with a forced smile, "when I came out of the orthopedics department, I thought that you
would still be in the pediatrics department, so I went over but I didn't see you there. But since I was already
there, I asked the doctor what was wrong with Rosalie’s kid. I wanted to know if there was anything I could do
to help."
Hearing this, Byron did not think much of it and replied calmly, "If she needed help, she would’ve asked.’’
Byron also knew that unless it was a last resort, the young woman would not easily ask him for help.
Wendy nodded and lay back on the bed. "I was being too nosy. The doctor also said that the child isn’t
seriously ill."
Just as the two were talking, there was a knock on the door of the ward.
Melody opened the door, walked in, and sat down beside Wendy's bed with concern. "How are you feeling
today? Does your arm still hurt? Is Byron taking good care of you?"
Hearing this, Wendy glanced at Li Byron timidly. She pursed her lips and said with a smile, "Byron is taking
good care of me. Thank you for your concern. You must be exhausted from traveling between home and the
hospital every day. My injury is no longer serious. You don’t have to worry anymore."
Melody looked disapproving. "How can I not worry? I have to watch you get better."
Wendy smiled gratefully.
Melody touched the plaster cast on her arm distressedly. "Bone and muscle injuries are serious and take a
long time to heal. Plus, you’ve been lying on the hospital bed this whole time. You must be bored. It would be

Then, Melody suddenly noticed the sweat on Wendy's forehead. She could not help but be a little worried. "
Why are you sweating so much? Haven’t you been lying on the bed all the time? Is your arm hurting again?”
Wendy felt guilty and shifted her body a little, she moved her eyes away and explained in a low voice, "I was
just a little bored lying down, so I climbed the stairs."
Hearing this, Melody's eyes flashed with suspicion. She turned to look at her son.
Byron frowned slightly. He knew nothing about Wendy climbing the stairs.
The only thing was that her claim made some sense.
"Byron wasn’t with you?" Melody asked immediately.
When the words sounded, Wendy subconsciously glanced at the man standing beside the hospital bed. Her
eyes flickered as if she was trying to make excuses for Byron.
Melody saw her embarrassment, turned to look at her son, frowned, and asked, "Where did you go when
Wendy was climbing the stairs?"
Byron frowned and said nothing.
If he ever mentioned Rosalie, his mother would probably find trouble with the woman again.
