through the phone.
Brian scowled. “What nonsense are you taking about?”
“Huh? Aren’t you at Rosalynn’s place? Didn’t you two just…you know, have sex? Are you done
already?”
Brian rolled his eyes. “How did you find out? Did you run into Maggie?”
“You’re quite perceptive.”
Brian didn’t feel Like continuing the conversation. He went straight to the point. “Did you take care of
what I asked?”
“What would that be?”
“What do you think?”
