Sylvia pursed her lips and maintained a polite tone. “Is there a reason you’ve come to see me now?”
Ramona said in a cold voice, “I’m here to give you a warning. Since you were Mrs. Carter before, you

referring to the incident at your birthday party? I didn’t mean to do it that day, but I indeed made a fool
of myself, so I apologize.”
Ramona snorted. “So you know that you made a fool of yourself that day. I thought you had no shame
at all.”
As she said that, she swept her eyes contemptuously at
Sylvia’s bulging stomach. Sylvia clenched her hand and did not speak. “But I’m not referring to that
