Married to the Boss: A Love in Disguise Chapter 232
Ruby looked up and muttered, “What a sissy.”
Simon asked, “What did you say?”
Ruby responded, “If you aren’t eating, leave, don’t ruin our appetites.”
“Fine, I’ll leave. Who wants to eat with you anyway?” Simon retorted, but he regretted it as soon as he left. Was he
an idiot? Did he really let others dictate his actions?
With nowhere else to go, Simon ended up in the smoking area.
“Simon?”
Hearing someone call his name, Simon turned around. Today was quite the gathering, even Stewart was at the
Soothy City Restaurant.
“Is that really you? When did you start liking Soothy City cuisine?” Stewart approached. “Don’t tell me your new

Simon was still upset. “What new girlfriend? I just came to the wrong place. What about you? Why are you hanging
out here?”
Stewart lit a cigarette. “A business partner of mine is from Soothy City. He likes strong flavors. He doesn’t want to
go to high-end places, and he prefers these sorts of places where the common folk come.”
“Stewart, this place isn’t cheap.” Simon didn’t like the sound of that. What did Simon mean? This kind of restaurant
was a place for poor people?
Starting prices here were in the tens of thousands, and many people couldn’t afford it. Stewart’s comment about
this place being for the poor was clearly discriminatory..
Stewart sneered, “What does the price have to do with it? I’m talking about something deeper. People from Soothy
City, no matter how rich, can’t change the fact that they’re fundamentally poor.”
Simon had just found out that Adam’s wife was from Soothy City, and now Stewart was saying these things. Simon
glanced back, afraid that Adam was behind them. “Stewart, you should avoid making such regionally prejudiced
comments.”
Stewart scoffed, “What’s there to be scared of?”
Simon responded, “While we in Red Pine City may have a more advanced economy, it’s not because we work
harder, but due to our geographical location. The economy in Soothy City is weaker due to the same reason, but
the people there are hardworking and brave, even better than us Red Pine City folks.”
Stewart asked, “What’s gotten into you? Why are you defending them?”
Simon retorted, “You’re wrong to speak like that. You do business with them on one hand, and on the other, you
look down on them for being poor. How is that different from a weaned child cursing his mother?”
Stewart’s face turned dark. “What do you know? You’ve never seen the dark side of business, but now you’re
lecturing me?”
“Mr. Mills may not know business, but he knows more about being human than you, Mr. Hawes. If you look down on

something man, tall and thin, and very energetic.
Stewart sneered, “Mr. Peay, if you don’t do business with me, do you think anyone in Red Pine City will dare to work
with you? The four great families of Red Pine City are one and the Adam, the CEO of Hills Group, is my childhood
friend.”
same, and
“Ha-ha!” Zeph Peay responded with silence and turned around to gather his friends from the private room. He had
the staff arrange a casual spot in the main hall for them and started ordering food, not giving Stewart any respect.
Stewart was burned with anger and growled. “What an ungrateful wretch! I wonder how long you’ll last in Red Pine
City.”
Simon, who had witnessed the whole thing, worried that Stewart would blame him. When Stewart went to the
private room to reprimand his staff, Simon sneaked back to the private room where Adam and Lumma were.
Simon closed the door, peeked out through a crack to make sure no one had followed him, and only then did he
relax.
Seeing him act so suspiciously, Adam asked, “What’s going on with you?”
Ruby mocked. “He wanted to come back, but he just needed an excuse.”
