Skyler looked in the direction of Jim’s gaze. She noticed Jocelyn, who was standing amidst the crowd, at
first sight.
Jim glanced at Skyler playfully and teased him,”Jocelyn White won an award, but Davis was the one
treating her to a meal. Skyler, what are you doing as her husband? Both of you are married on paper!”
Jim spoke to Skyler cheekily. He had long forgotten about Skyler being mad at him.
Skyler’s expression darkened. “You should just shut up!”
Jim smirked and said, “What’s wrong? Why aren’t you allowing me to state the truth?”
Skyler glanced at him and questioned, “Jim Rand, do you want to receive a beating?”
Jim immediately raised his hand as a sign of surrender. “No, I was just being a busybody. Right, what did
you give her after both of you got married? Did you give her a property, jewelry, or a credit card?”
Skyler did not expect Jim to ask him this question. He could not help but frown. “Why should I give her
something?”
Jim widened his eyes and asked, “You married her, but you didn’t give her anything?”
Skyler’s brows furrowed tightly as he said, “She was the one who suggested that we should get married
in the first place!”

Jim raised his brow and asked, “So what?”
He stared at Skyler for some time and suddenly approached him. “Skyler, judging from your response,
did you not give her anything? Are you that stingy? She saved your poor self-esteem from shattering
when you’ve been stood up countless times! You should give her something as a sign of gratitude! Don’t
give a woman the impression that you’re a narrow-minded man!”
Skyler moved to the side in disgust. He frowned and said, “It was just three times!”
Jim did not understand what he said. He widened his mouth and exclaimed, “Ah!”
Skyler’s brows furrowed even tighter. “She stood me up three times!”
Jim instantly understood what he meant. He tried suppressing his laughter. “Why do you have such a
strong ego? You should just live with it for the rest of your life!”
He still felt like speaking more after that. “Don’t meet a woman that you truly love in the future.
Otherwise, if you keep trying to get your way like this, you won’t even have the chance to cry in the
future! Men should always pester women! Approach women and distance yourself from them at the nght
time Women will surely fall for you!”
Skyler huffed coldly and said, “I won’t!”
Jim blanked and said, “What won’t you do? Are you not going to pester a woman or fall in love
a woman?”
Skyler’s expression grew icier. “I won’t do either of that! Don’t think that everyone else behaves the way
you do and frolics around with any woman out there!”
Jim could not help but burst out into laughter. “What do you mean by that? This is known as universal
love. What do you know about that?”
Skyler scoffed and said, “Indeed, I don’t understand the joy you find in flirting and fooling around with
other women. After all…”
He cast a sideways glance at Jim and said, “I’m afraid that I’d catch a disease!”
Jim was extremely angered. “I always make sure to use contraception!”.
Skyler did not even bother to cast a glance at him. Obviously, he did not want to continue discussing this
topic.
Jim felt beyond aggrieved. He insisted on letting Skyler know that there was true love in the world. He
wanted to let him know that the key to pursuing all women was to pester them. “Skyler, let me tell you
