Chapter 119 Pass On His Experience

Hearing that there was news about May. Erin felt glad. Despite their strained relationship, she was still

family, after all.

“Where is my cousin, Mr. Dunn?” Erin asked eagerly.

Sean was clearly displeased. “What did you call me?”

Upon hearing his question, Erin remembered something and changed her way of addressing him.

“Sean.”

“Now that’s better. Don’t worry, your cousin is fine. The information we gathered shows that she went to

Fleuverton City yesterday. It seems she went with the director of the casting group for the movie

Roman is shooting. Maybe you’ll run into her at the film studio.”

This news surprised her greatly. May was going to act in a movie!

Erin said. “I see. What matters most is that she’s fine. She’s better off acting in a movie than wasting

her time with some rich heir.”

Laughing, Sean teased, “That’s hard to say. Extras are a mixed bunch. Your cousin doesn’t have any

backing or acling experience. While there may be shortcuts for young girls like her that can help them

become an actress or catapult them to fame, whether those shortcuts work is another matter. I think

you know what I mean when I say the word ‘shortcul,‘ don’t you?”

Erin naturally knew of the unspoken rules in the industry. She said, “Thank you for the reminder and for

telling me about my cousin. I’ll treat you to a meal sometime.”

“You’re welcome. After all, you owe me two meals now. I have to go. Someone else is calling me.”

“Okay, goodbye.”

After hanging up the call, Erin quickly called Charlotte to let her know May was safe.

Charlotte was unexpectedly bubbly on the phone. “Erin, May called me last night! She said she’s an

extra and is working with top celebrities! My goodness! This silly girl unexpectedly went and became an

actress. Our May has really good looks, taking after me

For almost half an hour, Charlotte rambled on the phone incessantly. Erin fell that it wasn’t too polite if

she interrupted her aunt halfway. Charlotte was absolutely supportive of May becoming an actress. She

was counting her chickens before they even hatched, behaving as if May would soon become famous

and wealthy.

In the end, Charlotte even said that if May became successful she would take care of Erin. Erin could

only smile and agree to whatever. she said. Since Charlotte was no longer worried and even supported

In the evening. Roman came to Erin’s room and knocked on the door. Erin had just finished dinner by

then. Hastily, she opened the door to find Roman standing outside, holding a document.

He handed the document to Erin and said, “Take a look at this list tonight. It contains the main cast of

our movie, with detailed information and photos of the actors. This will help you communicate with them

during work.”

Erin happily accepted it. “Thank you, Roman. I’ll definitely take a good look at it tonight.”

“Alright, that’s all I wanted to say. I’ll be leaving now.”

Seeing Roman turning to leave, Erin immediately recalled the bottle of red wine. She said, “Wait,

Roman! Miss Zeigler, your good friend,

sent her assistant to deliver a bottle of red wine to you. She instructed me to make sure it reaches you.”

A trace of doubt could be seen in Roman’s eyes. “Miss Zeigler? Megan?”

Erin nodded. “Yes, it’s her.”

His expression turned slightly cold. “Hmph. She really likes to deceive newcomers.”

Roman’s words left Erin frozen in place. She asked softly. “Roman, what do you mean?”

He looked at her and said, “Erin, can I come in and sit for a while? The film studio will hold the opening

ceremony tomorrow, and there are some things I should tell you in advance.”

“Of course, please come in.” Erin had great respect for Roman. His demeanor was neutral. Hence,

Erin chuckled dryly. “I’ve met him once.”

The disappointment on Erin’s face puzzled Roman. “Does the fact that Simon is Megan’s boyfriend

bother you?”

She waved her hand and sighed. “It doesn’t bother me. It’s just that if my best friend learns about this,

she’ll probably be upset.”

“Your best friend?”

Seeing as Roman got more and more confused, Erin chose not to hide anything and briefly told him

about Holly’s feelings for Simon.

After listening. Roman made a statement right off the bat. “Forgive me for being frank. Even if Simon

were single, your best friend wouldn’t stand a chance to marry into the Frost family. You should be

Roman spoke for over an hour, and

opened her eyes.

She couldn’t help but secretly feel fortunate that Roman chose her as his assistant trainee. Even

though an assistant’s job looked like it

consisted of running errands for the celebrity on the surface, the scope of work covered various

aspects. Working in such an environment allowed her to learn way more than she should compared to

an office job.

Especially in terms of interpersonal relationships, Roman’s vividly described cases sounded complex,

but the methods he gave her were simple. Erin couldn’t help but marvel at Roman’s high intelligence

and emotional intelligence. As expected, famous actors were in a league

of their own.

Time passed unnoticed, and it was already midnight when Roman got up to leave.

After Roman returned to his room, a faint smile remained on his lips. His mind was filled with the image

of Erin looking at him attentively. her eyes full of awe and admiration for him.

For some reason, Erin’s smile seemed to have an extraordinary effect on him. He enjoyed seeing her

smile because it made him feel that all was right in the world.
