It was easy to tell who the person was from the click-clack of the high heels, the loosely tied wavy hair, the delicate makeup, and
the seductive eyeliner.
“Rhea.” Lily was not the least bit surprised. “It's you.”
The other day at the lab, she sensed that the disrespectful worker's figure, tone, and behavior were much like Rhea’s, and she had
always suspected that she had not died. ‘So | was right after all.’
However, Mike frowned and fixed a thoughtful gaze on Rhea.
“Of course, it's me.” Rhea stood beside the “boss” with her usual arrogant look. “The boss and | have the sgoal. How can | die
before the experiment succeeds?”

“So the body...”
“It's not difficult for people like us to find a substitute and change the DNA test result, right?” Rhea said indifferently.
Her tone was casual as if the incident had nothing to do with her, even sounding a little proud.
“Do you think you're smart enough to fool the police?” Seeing her smug look, Lily could not help but say so.
Rhea only curled her lips into a smile.
‘She doesn’t answer me, but her expression has given her away. Everyone outside thinks she’s dead. Even I'd doubt my suspicion
because doctoring the autopsy report is challenging. However, | couldn’t be more wrong!
‘If they could infiltrate the heavily guarded X Department, | wonder how many more spies are out there. Also, | don’t know how
many members the organization controls through drugs and how many they've forced to cooperate with them, just like they're
doing with Mike.
‘Still, I think he’s right that no matter how large the organization is, there must be a nlist. If | can find the list, | would have the
edge over them, and the short man before us most likely has the nlist hidden on him.”
The man was so short and looked funny wearing a suit too large for him. If Lily had met him on the street, she would have thought
he was a disabled person who deserved people's sympathy. She would never have guessed he could be so cruel.
Nonetheless, Lily wondered where he would hide the list. Mike said he would carry it wherever he went, but no one knew where the
man hid it.
Lily knitted her brow and sized the man up.

The man did not mind her stare and laughed, saying, “Are you sure you'd like to handle R10? Once you begin, you can’t change
your mind, got it?”
“Even if | were to change my mind, you don’t plan to free me, do you?” Lily shook her head and chuckled mockingly.
The man did not answer and looked at Rhea.
Seemingly reluctant, Rhea met his eyes and hesitated momentarily before turning around and walking toward the safe beside the
bookcase. She crouched down, quickly punched in a series of numbers, and scanned her palm. After turning the handle, the safe
door clicked and opened.
Mike was somewhat astonished. He had seen the safe inside the room but never saw the man taking anything from it, let alone
knowing the passcode.
However, he could tell Rha knew everything about the safe from how she opened it. It meant that the man trusted Rhea much
more than Mike.
