Chapter 81. ‘Don’t push me away’
“Dominic’ Wait, stop! Stop!* Athena shouted behind him, to stop him but he wasn’t even listening to her. No matter how much
she fan behind him, he was walking away too fast for her to catch up. But she didn’t stop, she ran and upon reaching him, she
pulled him by his bicep to make him face her. “Dominic!” She exclaimed while breathing hard
She ran a long distance behind him They were currently standing inside their mansion And she has been trying to talk to him
from the pack house It’s a quite good distance between the pack house and the mansion
“What is it?’” He asked in a cold tone as soon as he turned to face her. He didn’t look at her face but there was a look of irritation
on his face and she knew what was the reason
It was because of the question that the pack member asked at the end He looked at her as soon as she asked them the question
and she looked away. Athena didn’t notice then but there was a look of discomfort and displeasure on her face. She realised it
later and she understood that he must have noticed that and didn’t like that.
As soon as he looked at the look on her face, he walked away from there without looking at her face. He walked away from
there. She immediately ran behind him, keeping people looking at them in shock.
“Dominic! Why aren’t you responding to me? I have been calling you for so long. I have been calling you from the pack house
from her like this
“There’s nothing wrong with me. I don’t know what you are talking about Tell me, why have you been following me? What do you
want to talk about? And make it fast, I have some work.” He said in a blank tone, while not looking at her still. She badly wanted

“What’s wrong with you?” She took a deep breath asked in a soft tone, understanding very well that she was not going anywhere
by shouting at him or demanding for an answer. Her expression softened as well.
Al last he couldn’t stay looking away from her anymore. Her softened tone did the magic and he reluctantly looked at her with a
small frown on his face How was he going to maintain his posture if she kept looking at him like that? She looked so beautiful at
that moment with his eyes directly into his. He wanted that to be a forever thing but he knew the day was still far away He could
feel it So, he masked his expression back to blankness because he couldn’t act cold in front of her.
“Is that what you wanted to ask? I already told you that nothing is wrong with me. I will go to my office now. I need to work” He
said in the same blank tone before removing her hand from his hand and lightly pushing her a little away from him Her eyes
widened seeing that and she immediately got a hold of his hands again, this time tighter than the first time
“Hey! Don’t push me away!” She exclaimed with a cute angry frown and that stopped him again.
He couldn’t stop himself from looking at her in pure amusement. His eyes were on her as he was trying to think about what he
just said His expression went back to the previous one suddenly which made her frown deeply
He couldn’t take it anymore. He suddenly caught a hold of her forearms, making her look at him with widened eyes and before
she could understand anything, she found herself pinned up against the nearby wall She looked up at him in shock while he
looked down at her with his intention as clear as the lake water
“Dominic ‘She couldn’t complete what she was going to say when he shut her up by putting his lips on her
It’s not like she had anything to say other than his name because other than that, she was blank. The kiss made her go more
black and all her senses ran out of her system as she got lost in the kiss But it wasn’t long when he pulled away and looked her
in the eyes with a lot of emotions
Trust me, from the time you come back to my life again, I am never going to be the one to push you away unul I die. If I have the
nght and ability, I will try my best to hold you till my last breath But I don’t think I have the right nor the ability to do that Do 1?” He
said while looking deep into her eyes
His tone was filled with some pain and she could read that He once again pulled his hands away from her before turning around
and walking away He didn’t give her the chance to stop him this time once again But he knew he was not going to succeed in it
considenng its Athena they were talking about So he increased his speed and walked up the stairs quickly
“Dominic! What the hell?! Stop! You can’t run away like this! She shouted as she ran behind him to catch up
