Chapter 430
Her parents were playing hide and seek with her in the yard.
Filled with laughter, they hid and Agnes set out to find them.
But Agnes searched high and low, and they were nowhere to be found.

She yelled out, calling for her parents, but there was no answer, she couldn’t even hear her own voice.

her and plunging her into the water. And with that, Agnes woke up and sat up immediately.
She was gasping for air, her chest feeling heavy.
Her forehead was covered in sweat, and she was drenched in cold sweat.

Upon seeing Agnes, Mamie looked concerned.
She had heard about Preston’s mishap when she was in S City.
It was big news in the entertainment industry.
Mamie grabbed Agnes‘ hand, “You’ve lost so much weight, you okay?”
Agnes forced a smile, “I’m fine, I can handle it.”
Mamie sighed, “I heard things between you and Jared aren’t going well, what’s up with that?”

Why here? The food here is average, we’ve been here a gazillion times.”
Ivan calmly withdrew his arm from Mamie’s grasp and muttered, “It’s crowded here.
Mamie rolled her eyes, “What’s there to be scared of, we’re siblings, weren’t we always like this? Why are you
being so self–conscious?”
Ivan coughed and said, “I’m not being self–conscious.”
Mamie was a bit annoyed, she grabbed Agnes’s hand and said, “Let’s go eat, ignore him.”
Those two, they looked just like a couple.
Agnes knew Mamie and Ivan were secretly dating.
Being siblings was the perfect cover, the media wouldn’t suspect a thing.
