Blind Date Turned Proposal (Josie and Dexter)
Chapter 982 Discovering Her Real NameDexter glanced deeply at the study door before turning around and heading back to Heather's room.
The wedding was conducted in a proper manner, free from any outdated and backward traditions. He opened the door to find Heather sitting on the bed with her legs crossed, her wedding dress elegantly spread out around her, and diamonds sparkling on her head.
When she saw him, she blushed and said, "Dex, you've arrived." Dexter's eyes showed no emotion as he sat across from her. "It's not tyet. We'll leave at ten," he replied.
Heather always had a shy smile on her face, her pristine fingers intertwined. Her eyes were filled with admiration and reverence as she looked at him.
This man, who was once out of reach, would probably never have crossed paths with them if it weren't for an unexpected twist of fate. Yet, it was this chance to get close to him that allowed her to forgive the injustices and poverty she had endured for over a decade.

Dexter furrowed his brow, absentmindedly flipping his phone between his fingers. "Arnold's office." Indeed, it was back then when he sought out Arnold to help Summer, which led to their first encounter.
"What was your initial reaction when you sawback then?" she inquired.
At that time, she had already made herself look very much like Josie. Upon seeing her, Dexter naturally found her familiar.
"Familiar." "| felt the sway, Dex. | recognized you at that moment. | never thought that the boy from my youth would be you. But you already had a wife, and | was heartbroken." Heather was filled with emotion. If there were no doubts, Dexter would have been moved. But at that moment, he remained unmoved.
He glanced at the sunlight outside. "You mentioned the past. It actually remindedof something." "What?" "When we were children, we buried a pot of wine under a tree during one of our playful adventures. We made a pact to dig it up and drink it once we each got married. Now that we are about to get married, it's tto open that pot of wine." Heather was taken aback for a moment, then tentatively responded, "Indeed, | had completely forgotten until you mentioned it. Send someone to dig it up. We'll drink it tonight." The corner of Dexter's mouth curved slightly, a sharp glint flashing in his eyes.
He had never done such a thing with Liana.
There was a DNA report, so he had never tried to dig for information. However, the moment he did, he found a lead.
Calmly, he stepped off the balcony to make a call.
"Look into Heather's case through Ruby," he said on the phone.
The sunlight fell on his face, yet it appeared incredibly gloomy. "Tell Justin that if he and his sister want to survive, they must tell the truth." Throughout the the was waiting for a response, Dexter remained standing on the balcony with the call connected.
Heather was puzzled. She carefully got out of bed and walked to the balcony door, where she heard Dexter's voice coming from afar.

Heather silently took note of it and, without making a sound, returned to her original position just as he was about to turn around.
It was almost ten o'clock, and the servant was urging them to leave.
Dexter stepped out of the room, watching as Heather was assisted forward. Just then, his phone rang. It was a call from Larry.
He picked up the phone immediately and said, "Go ahead." Larry was always composed, but this time, his voice trembled as he answered, "Mr. Russell, Liana... No...
Heather's real nis Rachel." Clearly, Larry was also quite shocked. "Justin is doing things for Josie. He specifically cfor this wedding." Dexter's fingers trembled as he held his phone. Everything was confirmed, and his pulse was racing.
Justin snatched the phone away, raising his voice. "Dexter! Do whatever you want with me! Just tellwhere my sister is! She hasn't contactedfor several days! What have you done to her?"
