Atlas POV
“Alpha, Walker and the others have just entered the territory” a patrol guard links me. “Good send them to my office.” I send for
Thomas and he joins me before they arrive. “Atlas, are you sure these men can be trusted?” “How will you even know that
James is truly dead except for their word?” “You make a good point Thomas but honestly tomorrow it won’t really matter.” “If they
betray us they will die just like that ba**ard Lincoln and his pack.” A knock sounds on the door and the men walk in being led by
Walker. “Gentlemen it’s good to see you finally returned.” “Give me a full report Walker.” As soon as Walker finishes, I look at the
other warriors. Walker goes to speak and I stop him. I walk toward the warrior who looks like he is ready to sh*t his pants. “What
is your name boy?” He looks at Walker and I growl. “I asked you a question and I expect an answer.” “I”m sorry Alpha, my name
is Jacob.” “Well Jacob, is Elder James dead as Walker says he is?” “Yes Alpha” he says a little too quickly for my liking. “He’s
lying” Silas growls. “Snap his f**king neck” Silas says and I push him down. I need to find out what happened and I can’t have
Silas go on a killing spree.
I turn to Walker who looks worried for the warrior. I grab Jacob by the throat. “Alpha” Walker says, and I shoot him a glare. “Now
do you want to tell me the truth, Walker, or should I snap his neck right here?” “He isn’t dead.” “Max killed Elder Brandon before
he was killed.” “We were captured and honestly after speaking to Amelia we can no longer fight by your side.” I laugh at this
pathetic wolf. I drop Jacob and slam Walker against the wall. “You spoke to my mate.” “It seems she isn’t your mate because of
what you have done to her.” I can feel Silas at the surface and I make no effort to stop him from killing this pathetic wolf. I slam
my claw into his stomach and pull it out dropping him to the floor. A puddle of blood pools around him. I link the warriors to come
clean up the mess and take the other three traitors to the cells. Once the ba**ards are gone, I sit behind my desk. “You did the
right thing, Atlas”, Thomas says. “Leave me, I need to be alone.” “Atlas” he starts to say, but I’m sure he realizes I’m in no mood
to talk. Once he’s gone, I flip my desk.
She is turning my pack members against me. First Neal and now Walker. She is going to be so sorry when I finally have her.
“You will not hurt our mate when we finally get her back” Silas says. “You’re not angry with her for f**king another man and
turning our pack members against us.” “I blame you for all those things and you will not drive her away again.” “Fine but I will f**k

straight Atlas.” “The worst thing you can do is to scare her.” “She is carrying our pup and we need to regain her trust.” I definitely
need to shift before I rip my whole office apart. We head downstairs and shift when we get outside. As I run past the border, I
catch the scent of rogues. I smile to myself, I would love to rip some rogues apart right now..

I cross the border and as I stalk forward, I see an older woman, a child, and a woman around my age. I shift and step out where
they can see me. The older woman pushes the two girls behind her as soon as she catches my scent. “Why are you this close to
my pack, rogue?” “Sir, we mean you no harm.” “Alpha, I am the Alpha of this pack and I asked you what your business is here.” I
see her eyes get big and fear flash across her face. “Alpha, we are just passing by and we did not cross into your territory.” I step
forward “I don’t care if you are in the territory or not.” “You could be trying to determine if my pack has a weakness so your
collective can attack.” She tries to back up. “We aren’t part of any collective.” “Please we will leave, there is only three of us.”
“We couldn’t possibly be a threat to your pack.” “She is just a child.” Three of my warriors come through the trees. “Take them to
the cells until I decide what to do with them.” The little girl starts to cry and I shift not wanting to hear her.
Michael POV
As soon as I pull back from the first kiss I’ve ever had, I am ready to make her mine in every way. I place my forehead against
hers. “I know you’re afraid of what your brother is capable of but you need to understand that you’re not alone anymore.” “You
are my mate and this pack is our family.” “I just need you to be safe and we have to stop Lucas. “We will I promise.” “Pheobe I
don’t want you to feel rushed but I want you to know that I am ready to make you mine when you’re ready.” She blushes and I
expect her to shoot me down immediately. She takes my hand “let’s go get Lily to lift her spell and then we can talk more.” I smile
that she realized what Lily had done. I start to lead her toward the pack hospital. Once we head into Amelia’s room, Lily looks
like the cat that swallowed the canary. “Did you have a nice walk,” Lily asks her. “So you knew the whole time I was leaving.”
“Let’s just say your not a very good actress”, Amelia says with a laugh. I wrap my arm around her pulling her into my side. All the
girls smile when they see she has accepted my touch.
“Lily, can you lift the spell from Pheobe please?” I see a look of concern flash across Lily’s face. Before I can say anything,
Pheobe walks over and stands in front of Lily. “I’m sorry I thought leaving was my only choice to protect Michael from my
brother.” “There is always another choice” Lily says. She waves her hand and Pheobe smiles. “I promise I won’t leave but we
need to talk about Lucas tomorrow.” “I know my brother and he is not going to wait to get what he wants.” She hugs everyone
and Lincoln links me. “Congratulations, she is a very lucky woman.” “Thank you, Lincoln.” He turns back looking at his mate. “We
will meet first thing in the morning and in the afternoon, we will be having our Luna and Beta Female ceremony.” Before Pheobe
can protest, I take her hand leading her out of the room. “Michael is he really going to make me a pack member.” I stop and turn

to look at her. “You are my mate and this pack’s Beta Female.” “I have no idea how to be that.” “Well, it’s good that your mate will
teach you everything you will need to know.”
I lead her up to our floor and she looks around. “This is our floor.” “The whole floor is ours.” The amazement in her voice makes
me smile. “Yes, we have four bedrooms to fill.” She blushes again and I sweep her up in my arms carrying her to our bedroom. I
set her down on our bed. I take a step back “remember there is no pressure and I can wait as long as you need me too.” She

stands walking toward me. “Michael, I have never done this before and I’m afraid I won’t know what to do to please you.” I lift her
chin so she is looking me in the eyes. “We will learn together and what we are about to do is for both us.” “This is about us
completing our bond and pleasing each other.” I can see the shock on her face. “You’re a virgin too” she says with disbelief in her

Pheobe POV
“Michael please make me yours.” He pulls his shirt over his head and his body is a work of art. Without thinking, I place my
hands against his chest and the feeling of the his skin makes my body hot. He reaches down, taking the hem of my shirt and
pulls it over my head. My first instinct is to cover my breasts but I resist it. My breasts are bared to him. He takes them in his
