“Of course not.”

Lincon shook his head and added, “In fact, there’s an unwritten rule for the Astonishing

World List. High-ranking royal officials are not allowed on the list.”

“So, is Julius not strong enough to be on the list, or is he not allowed?” Wyatt questioned

further.

“He’s not allowed on the list, and he’s not qualified either,” Lincoln responded.

“That puts my mind at ease.” Wyatt breathed a sigh of relief.

“If the Astonishing World List is accurate, then Prince Logan must be stronger than Julius.

As long as he doesn’t underestimate his opponent, he should be able to secure a stable

victory,” Tyrus analyzed. 2

“That may be true, but we should still exercise caution,” Eloise murmured to herself.

She felt a mix of emotions witnessing Logan’s excellence. On one hand, she hoped for his

victory to restore the monarchy’s dignity. On the other hand, she harbored concerns.

If Logan were to assume the throne, she worried he might follow in Julius’ footsteps and

take action against her son.

After all, her son unconditionally trusted Logan, bordering on dependence. If Logan chose

to sever ties, her son would face dire consequences.

Meanwhile, the clash between Dustin and Julius was escalating. Both parties moved with

incredible speed.

They were so fast that ordinary soldiers could only vaguely see two blurred figures

entwined in combat. Occasionally, thunderous explosions resonated, generating powerful

shockwaves.

“They’ve been at it for quite a while now. Given the Grand General’s prowess, he should

have won already. Why has he yet to defeat Prince Logan? “Elijah squinted, quietly

observing the unfolding battle.

On the surface, it appeared that Julius was pressing the offensive, forcing Logan into a

defensive stance.

Normally, Julius would have defeated his opponent within three minutes with his

aggressive approach. However, it had been ten minutes, and the outcome remained

uncertain. It was an odd situation.

“Logan is a fellow ultimate gr. ndmaster. Dealing with him is undoubtedly no easy task.

Grand General Rhys will need to go all out to win,” Everett commented.

“At this point, going all out is the only option. Grand General Rhys would be in danger

should he face defeat.” Shane shook his head.

“Generals, if Grand General Rhys is defeated, what would be your course of action?” Elijah

asked abruptly.

“What else can we do? Naturally, it’s to stand by Grand General Rhys till the end,” Everett

declared, showing no fear of impending death.

“Exactly! As the Grand General’s trusted confidants, we should face life and death

alongside him,” Shane declared righteously.

“Why must both of you be so resolute?” Elijah’s words carried profound meaning.

“The Grand General and we are separate beings. Each individual has the right to survive.

Sacrificing ourselves for others seems unnecessary.

“What do you mean by that, Sir Valor?” Everett raised an eyebrow.

“It’s undeniably the best outcome if Grand General Rhys emerges victorious. But if he

doesn’t, we must also be prepared to protect ourselves,” Elijah whispered.

“Are you suggesting we surrender?” Shane’s expression darkened as he exclaimed.

“Wise men adapt to circumstances. Shouldn’t we value our own lives?”

Elijah began to persuade them.”

Generals, we’ve worked hard to reach our positions today. There’s still a bright future

ahead for us, with endless glory and wealth to revel in. Are you willing to sacrifice all of

that here?

“Besides, think about your families and friends if you won’t consider yourselves. If you die,

what will happen to your family? Who will care for them?

“Well…” Everett and Shane exchanged glances, evidently waning in their initial

determination.
