"Ms. Camron, don't move a muscle. You should be careful; bullets don't care who they hit." A chilling voice came

from behind Lana.

Lana turned around to the ominous sight of a gun barrel and a menacing face.

"Who are you? You think you can just waltz in here and stir up trouble in the Camron family?" Lana demanded, her

tone firm.

"Ms. Camron, no need to get all riled up. We're just following orders," the gunman replied with indifference.

"Orders? Whose orders?" Lana pressed.

"Clearly, they're my orders."

At that moment, a slim man in a suit, wearing a stern expression, entered the meeting room. It was Scott from the

Mosey family.

"You?" Seeing Scott, Lana's expression shifted immediately. She had just escaped from the trouble at the slums.

She didn't expect Scott to track her down so quickly.

"Ms. Camron, we will meet again."

Scott grinned as he approached, lifting Lana's chin with his finger. "Quite the looker. I can't help but be a little

intrigued."

"Mr. Mosey, we haven't had any conflicts. Why are you doing this?" Lana furrowed her brows.

"No conflicts?" Scott chuckled. "You made a fortune selling Dew Balm but refused to cooperate with me. Doesn't

that count as holding a grudge?"

"Mr. Mosey, if it's a business matter, we can discuss it calmly. No need for unnecessary drama," Lana attempted to

calm the situation.

"Business? It's just a matter of making a little less money. But what I'm really mad about is the humiliation you

brought upon me on your opening day!"

Scott snapped, his face full of anger, "As a member of the Mosey family, you treated me like I was a dog. I've

suffered enough humiliation. I can't sleep peacefully if I don't make you pay for your actions!"

"Mr. Mosey, Ms. Nicholson has assured that the matter won't be pursued further. Aren't you just disrespecting her

decision?" Lana frowned.

"Dahlia?" Scott sneered. "My godfather highly regards her and chose her as the chief housekeeper, but it won't be

long before she loses power.

"I was wary of her, but soon she won't be able to protect herself. So why would she care for people like you? So,

your fate is now in my hands."

"Mr. Mosey, this matter has nothing to do with the Camron family. It was all that bastard, Dustin, who did it! If you

have a bone to pick, go after him. It's none of our business!" Corey pleaded humbly.

"Yes, Mr. Mosey, we're all innocent. Please spare us!" other members of the Camron family begged one after

another.

The Camron family was just a second-tier family, not even noble. They were nothing compared to an ancient house

family like the Moseys. With Scott's standing, it would be easy for him to ruin them.

"There's no rush. I'll settle the score with Dustin on my own. For now, let's deal with our business," Scott strolled to

the main seat, reclining into the chair. It was like a game of cat-and-mouse for him.

"Mr. Mosey, what exactly do you want?" Lana inquired with a solemn tone.

"Initially, I planned to handle Dustin through the Black Grizzly Gang discreetly, but I underestimated him a bit.

"I have to admit he has some skills to be able to eliminate all the elites of the Black Grizzly Gang effortlessly. So

now, I must take him seriously and regard him as a formidable opponent.

"Of course. To avoid tipping Dustin off, I need your help. As long as you help me out, we'll be friends from now on.

How about it?" Scott grinned as he spoke.
