Inside the cave, Josephine, Feenix, and Aislin huddled together. All three of them were exhausted. They had been

chased by Kaison’s group for the past few days and could only hide.

At that moment, they were shivering from the cold and feeling hungry. Their mounts were also already dead.

“We need to keep moving, Josephine. That guy’s probably going to catch up with us soon,” said Feenix weakly. “I

As she pressed both of her palms onto the stone wall, it started to melt because it was actually a thick layer of ice.

After she created a large pit by melting the ice wall, she turned to Aislin. “Quick, place Josephine inside here.”

Soon after, Feenix stretched her wings, her crimson feathers glowing. Hastily, she plucked a feather from her wing

and placed it on Josephine’s body. Then, she covered Josephine in ice.

Due to the icy weather, Josephine was soon frozen inside. No one outside could see someone hidden inside the wall.

“I hope my Phoenix Feather can protect Josephine’s life.” Feenix glanced at Josephine one last time before running

out of the cave with Aislin.
