“Okay! Let's visit Rock Village. I would like to know who on earth that man is...” Francois narrowed his eyes,
murderous intent festering in them.
At that moment, Jared didn't know Francois and Brutus had set their sight on Rock Village. After exiting the
scorched land, he, Ali, and the rest were about to return to Rock Village.
Right when Jared was about to lead Ali and the rest back, two figures suddenly appeared before them and blocked
their path.
Ali and the others grew anxious when they saw the figures before their eyes. Jared, on the other hand, frowned and
asked, “Leifr? Is that you?”

young girl was standing next to him.
“How impressive! You guys actually managed to escape from Francois and get your hands on Grus Divina!” Leifr
was in awe.
“Why are you blocking our way?” Jared asked Leifr warily. Leifr is the Alpha Wolf, and now that he has gained a
human form, he's surely even more powerful than Francois and Chev. I haven't recovered my strength, so I can't
figure out Leifr's true capability.
“Calm down. I'm not interested in your Grus Divina. It's just that my princess is interested in you, and she wants to
have a chat with you.” Leifr flashed a smile when he saw the nervous look on Jared's face.
“Princess?” Jared glanced at the girl beside Leifr in bafflement. Who would've known that the girl was also a demon
beast in human form? I didn't sense an ounce of beast race aura in her!
“That's right. This is Princess Ivasha. She's very interested in the celestial beast aura coming from your body!” Leifr
nodded.
“I'm in a rush to go somewhere. If we don't leave now, we'll be stuck in this mountain range!” Jared didn't want to
talk to Ivasha. After all, he didn't know Leifr and Ivasha well enough to trust them.
“If we don't give way, do you think you can leave?” Ivasha smiled faintly.
Jared fell silent when he heard those words. Setting aside the fact I don't know what cultivation level Princess Ivasha
is on, Leifr alone can take all of us down!
With that in mind, Jared said to Ivasha, “What would you like to talk about? Please hurry. We're in a rush!”
Instead of answering Jared, Ivasha turned toward Leifr and instructed, “Leifr, send the others out of this mountain
range. Leave the man here. I want to talk to him alone.”
“Understood.” Leifr nodded respectfully.

“No! Jared must leave with us. We won't leave Jared behind!” Emily yelled when she heard their adversaries wanted
to talk to Jared alone.
“That's right. We won't leave Jared behind!” Percy chimed in. We must stay with Jared!
Leifr's expression turned grim when he heard Emily and Percy shouting. Right when he was about to reprimand the
duo, Ivasha raised her hand to stop him.
Afterward, Ivasha smiled at Emily and Percy and said flatly, “Little ones, you're not qualified to speak here. I won't
harm Jared. Be good and go home, all right? Jared will be back in no time!”
Emily and Percy weren't willing to give in. They didn't want to leave Jared behind, and they wanted to retaliate.
Before they could do so, however, Jared ordered, “Emily, Percy, go home. I'll be fine!”
With that, he glanced at Ali and uttered, “Ali, look after them and keep them safe!”
“Don't worry. I'll take good care of them!” Ali nodded.
