Chapter 1860 Something Wrong With That Girl
Cindy thought for a while before she made a voice call. The other party didn't answer but hung up at once instead.
The other party's reaction made Cindy even more certain of her previous guess. She shook her head and felt that
the other woman was really not intelligent before she placed her phone aside and headed to the room.
Ian was nearly awake, and when he heard the door open, he squinted and looked over. He somehow knew that
Cindy had just left, so he stared at her for two seconds and closed his eyes. “Where did you go?”
Cindy came over and stood beside the bed. “I went for a walk downstairs. Get up, as you won't be able to sleep at
night if you continue to sleep now.”
He turned over and slowly got out of bed. While sitting up and leaning against the head of the bed, he said, “Maybe
I was too tired at noon, which is why I feel like sleeping more even after having a nap.”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtShe rolled his eyes at him. “Then, you should behave in the future and don’t tire yourself out.”
Laughing, Ian pulled Cindy's hand over. “Would you like me to behave, though? I remember that you also liked it
and kept telling me not to stop.”
She raised her hand to cover his mouth. “How shameless you are! How dare you say such things. Shut up now, shut
up.”
He didn’t dodge her and merely allowed her to press him on the bed. While holding her waist, he added, “Do you
still want more? You have to wait for me to recover, though.”
Cindy was really speechless. This guy seems to have unlocked a lot of lewd lines!
To her, he was a quiet and honest man in the past. However, she now discovered that it was merely a good disguise
that he adopted back then. They then tussled with each other for a while before they got up from the bed. Since it
was a little late and the two of them didn't want to cook anymore, they ordered takeout.
While waiting for the takeout, she tidied up the bed. The sheets and quilts had to be changed since they had too
much fun at noon. He originally had helped out beside her, but before the bed could even be made, her phone that
was on the bedside table vibrated. As he was relatively close to the bedside table, he took the phone over and
initially wanted to give it to her before glancing at the message displayed on the main screen.
The message was sent by Peter, and the first few words of the message were that he was busy earlier.
Seeing this, Ian paused for a moment, his eyes still on the phone.
Cindy heard the phone’s vibration, but she did not stop or look at Ian and merely asked, “Who sent a message to
me?”
He raised his eyes and looked at her, his tone flat. “It's Peter.”
She was taken aback for a moment, and only then did she stop. She reached out, took the phone from him and
clicked on it to read the sent text. Perhaps it was because of the voice call that Peter did not answer and he now

Cindy snorted. “This is truly endless.”
Ian was not angry because Peter was really not a threat to him, but he still asked, “What is he doing looking for
you? We've left the place, yet he's still contacting you.”
She handed the phone to Ian. The phone was still unlocked and the screen showed the earlier conversation. He
took the device and swiped it to read the conversation between the two of them. He didn't know Peter very well, so
he couldn't tell whether the messages were sent by Peter himself or not. However, he frowned when he saw Peter’s
words where he said that he had dreamed of Cindy.
Cindy said from the side, “It shouldn't be Peter. I guess it’s from the girl who likes him. She probably took his phone
and sent it to me to test me on purpose.”
Ian paused, frowning even deeper. “Is there something wrong with that girl?”
The last time that girl stopped the car, he wasn’t exactly polite to her. He originally thought that there would be a
complete stop to these matters after that incident and since he and Cindy had left town. As a result, he really didn't
expect that the girl would be exceptionally stubborn.
