Chapter 1848 What Was Your Major?
Yulia liked to be arrogant. In the past, many people would think that her abilities were excellent and talented people
might indeed be different from ordinary people. However, now that there was frequent exposure of her dirty deeds
done, everyone’s opinions had changed again. They felt that she thought very highly of herself, but in actual fact,
her so-called ability was nothing much and her photos all depended on the post-production anyway. Hence, she was
nothing special.
In any case, she was no longer on a pedestal.
Naomi was elated and said, “I had written down all the people who offended you in a small notebook. I’m going to
watch how you trample them.”
Cindy nodded. “Okay, okay, I've written it down too. When I become successful in the future, you’ll get to be a part

Naomi laughed and clarified, “Ah, do you have a conscience? I need to be more than that.” Then, she went back to
the topic. “Tell the truth. Have you and Yulia had a conflict? You sound a little strange earlier. You are not the kind
Cindy I knew before.”
Facing Naomi, Cindy didn't want to avoid too much, so she simply talked about the relationship between herself and
Yulia. Naomi's temper was not as gentle as Cindy's, so she called Yulia out as soon as she heard the story. “Oh, what
the heck, how dare she! She really thinks highly of herself, huh? How can she be so shameless?”
Cindy explained calmly, “Ian seemed to have had a talk with her today, though, so she should know to keep a
distance."
Naomi didn’t care whether others repented or not; she only cared about the mistakes that person had made. With
annoyance, she said, “Just wait, I'll write bad stuff about her when I have the free time and I must make her cry.”
An amused Cindy convinced, “Actually, that’s unnecessary. Her account may be managed by the company itself.
She doesn't even know whether you are scolding her, so there is no need to do so and make yourself even more
exasperated.”
In fact, Naomi felt relieved more than exasperated after she scolded someone. It was as if all the grievances she
suffered at work were vented through that channel.
The two of them chatted, and when Cindy felt that it was almost time, she hung up. She didn’t know why, but she
felt better after the phone call. When she returned to the private room, Ian and Gary had already changed the
subject. The two stopped talking about investment projects, and instead talked about things in the entertainment
industry which she could understand.
Cindy went over to sit next to Ian. First, she nodded to Gary before listening to what they were saying since he also
knew some people in the entertainment industry. He talked about the contacts he knew from the talk show before.

Ian did. As a result, the two started to chat again about the show that Gary had participated in.
While she listened quietly by the side, Gary had unexpectedly turned to her in the middle of the conversation and
asked, “Miss Selby, do you also want to enter the entertainment industry in the future?”
She was stunned for a moment before quickly waving her hand. “No, no, I can't. I'm not good enough. I want to find
a normal job in the future.”
Gary nodded. “What was your major?”
At the mention of her major, Cindy was a little ashamed. “I studied fashion design, but I haven't been engaged in
related work in this field since graduation and it is arduous to find a job in this field now.”
Then, she mentioned about looking for apprenticeship work yesterday. She was a little embarrassed and added, “I
think I'm a little far behind, considering the conditions offered by the company.”
He thought for a while before asking, “Paramount Group?”
This was the company that Cindy went to look for work as an apprentice yesterday, so she nodded. “Yes, it’s quite
famous in the industry, so I thought that I would learn a lot there. I tried to ask them yesterday, and the result
was...”
