Chapter 1641

Her father always felt indebted to Sophia. He was guilt-ridden for not being by her side when her mother passed

away when he was overseas.

His guilt made him feel like he owed Sophia a great deal, and he wanted to do everything he could to fill the void

left in her life.

As for Sophia, she was insatiable. She was always exploiting her father’s affection and guilt, coercing him into doing

wrong things for her.

“Miss, I hope you will make sure that Sophia pays for her deeds. Karma has a way of catching up with those who do

wrong.”

Ellinor looked at Lea with admiration. She was impressed by the girl’s strong sense of justice, even when it came to

her own kin.

“Are you two done yet?”

Marcus’s impatient and stern voice interrupted the conversation between the two girls.

Ellinor raised an eyebrow at him. “Not yet. I feel a connection with this little lady. I want to chat with her a bit more

before I leave.”

Marcus frowned. “Are you trying to give me a heart attack?”

Marcus’ anxious countenance made Ellinor feel a warmth in her heart, but considering his health, she decided not

to push him further. “Okay, I’m leaving. Is that not enough?”

She stood up and looked at Adrian sitting next to Marcus, then at Tristan by her side. “What about you two? Do you

want to switch back now?”

Adrian immediately stood up. “Mommy, I do! I want to go home with you. I miss you and my siblings, and my great-

grandpa, great-grandma, and Aunt Veronica.”

Tristan, however, seemed a bit reluctant as he clung to Ellinor’s sleeve, torn between choices. “I…”

Upon seeing Tristan, the son he raised, not wanting to return to him, Marcus rubbed his temples. “You don’t want to

come back?”

Tristan grimaced. “No… I miss you, Dad, but I don’t like Sophia. I don’t like that home.”

“Alright, you’ve been with your mom for a while now, so it’s Adrian’s turn to go home. Today, you switch back, and,

in the future, I’ll take you to visit your mom.”

Understanding the situation, Tristan obediently nodded and prepared to switch places with Adrian.

Ellinor patted the little guy’s head. “Hold on; don’t rush off. You two go find the restroom and change clothes.”

Only then did Tristan and Adrian realize they were dressed differently.

Ellinor, leading the children, said, “I’ll take them to the restroom to change. I’ll bring one back to you later.”

Marcus sighed with relief. Finally, she wasn’t risking it anymore and was planning to leave.

He nodded. “Alright, go ahead.”

After Ellinor took Tristan and Adrian to the restroom, Lea stared at Marcus with curious eyes.

Marcus, who had been watching Ellinor and his two sons leave, felt Lea’s gaze, frowned, and turned to her. “What is

it?”

Lea blinked. “Marcus, have you regained your memory?”

Marcus was taken aback. “Why do you ask?”

“If you haven’t regained your memory, why are you so concerned about her? You don’t even remember her.”
