“Now, sit in a lotus position on the ground.”
James did as he was told.
“Close your eyes and empty your mind.

“Try sensing your surroundings with your Psynergy,” Marcello said.
Then, he suddenly struck James with his fist. However, James managed to instinctively dodge his attack.
“It’s done,” Marcello said.
James opened his eyes and looked at Marcello, stunned.
Marcello smiled and said, “Our eyes have blind spots, and our senses have a brief moment of delay. When you
charged through the formation just now, you used your senses to detect the attacks. Then, you transmit the
information to your brain, which will then make a judgment. However, this process requires time. This caused your
speed to slow down, thereby failing to pass through the golems.
“Empty your mind and discharge Psynergy to sense your surroundings. Let the body make its own decision, not the
brain. Just now, when I tried striking you, your body dodged
instinctively. That’s because your Psynergy sensed a looming threat and performed a conditioned reflex.”
James listened intently.

barrier.”

James was thankful for him.
Marcello smiled and said, “Without further ado, let’s begin.”
After he spoke, he appeared before James in the blink of an eye and struck him. Before James could react, he was
sent flying and collapsed heavily to the ground, groaning in pain.
“Hey, at least give me a heads-up!”
He crawled up with great difficulty.
However, the moment he stood up, Marcello immediately appeared before him and launched a succession of
attacks. Still, Marcello had controlled his strength. James would not be in any danger.
