Xade rolled his eyes and replied. " Of course we are." The door opens and Xaden peeks in nervously. When his eyes caught sight of us he breathed out a sigh of relief. "I know you two humping bunnies can't get enough of each other, had to be sure.” Shut it," Xade grumbles, reaching out for a pillow on the bed and launching it toward Xaden who missed it by a few seconds.
He chuckled." Need to aim properly little brother. Thought you were good at aiming since you seem to shoot properly down there," he nudged his chin down to Xade's crotch and smirked when I was the one who flushed.
Stop," I muttered, turning away from him to hide my red embarrassed cheeks.
Okay, fine," Xaden mocked, raising his hands in surrender. " Just making sure you two are ready. Dad says we need to leave now. Beta Logan has already launched swolves to surround your hfor protection little V. Your mama is safe." His words brought on relief and the weight I felt on my shoulders lessen.

Xaden gaze softens. "We are a family Avery, all of us including your mom. We protect family." Xade smiled happily at his brother's words and pulledby his side. And we stick together," he utters, kissing my head. Then he grabs the duffel bag he had packed and swoopedin his arms without a struggle.
