Ava widened her eyes in astonishment, tossed her phone away, and quickly grabbed a box of tissues. She
frantically pulled out several tissues.
“How can this be?”
“What’s wrong?” Daniel, who was cleaning up Ava’s room, walked over worriedly. He saw that the laptop in front of
him was completely soaked.
The keyboard was full of water, and he could see that there were lots of water stains. Moreover, the screen was
also covered with water.
After Ava finished wiping down the laptop, she tried to turn it on but the laptop did not respond at all.
“What’s the matter? It was fine when I used it last night.” Ava’s face became anxious.
She had stayed up all night last night, working nearly till morning. All of her hard work was saved on the laptop.

the laptop.
Ava was waiting anxiously at one side. She was expecting something good to come out of this attempt.
After ten minutes of blowing, Daniel tried to turn the laptop on again but it still failed.
“Ava, I have a friend who’s in this business. I’ll take the laptop there and ask him to help salvage it.”
Ava had no choice but to let Daniel take the laptop for repairs.
She changed her clothes and went with Daniel, but even after the professionals looked at it, the result was the
same.
Ava could only accept it.
On the way back, Ava kept looking out of the car window. Her eyes were filled with sadness.
Looking at the frown on Ava’s face, Daniel felt powerless and distressed.
“Sorry I couldn’t help you. Is there any important work information on it? Will it affect your work?” Daniel asked
softly.
Ava looked back suddenly. “Why are you apologizing to me? This isn’t your fault and you don’t have to worry about
my work. I’ll take care of it.”
“Really?” Daniel was still a little worried. “If you have any difficulties, you must tell me.”
“Don’t worry, I can handle it.” Ava winked at Daniel. Then, she did not forget to smile at him.” Actually, I have a
backup of the data, so you don’t have to worry.”
Upon hearing this, Daniel suddenly breathed a sigh of relief.
“That’s good.”
“Yeah.” Ava smiled, wiping the sadness off her face.
She silently put away all of her frustrations so that Daniel would not notice.
It was true that all of her work data was uploaded to the cloud for backup, but she had saved her latest draft locally
because she did not have time to upload it to the cloud.

received a call from his father. He was told that the old master was awake and he wanted to see Daniel.
After Daniel sent Ava back to her apartment, he went back.
When Ava got home, she lay down on the sofa miserably.
She glanced at her laptop that had to be tossed out. She could not wrap her head around how water had spilled all
over it.
She did not remember if she had spilled a glass of water. Plus, she remembered she did not close the laptop before
she slept.
Did Daniel spill some water when he was cooking for her?
However, even if he did, he would have immediately wiped away the water. How could there be water stains all
over the laptop?
Ava did not understand, but all of a sudden, a face appeared in her head.
