“Eveline will only be in more danger if she remains in a passive state,“ Jeremy said, raising his fierce but wise thin
eyes. “The best way is to turn passive into active.“
With that said, Karen completely understood.

think she’s asleep now.“
Jeremy smiled understandingly. “She’s been acting for so long. She slit her wrist and even slept in the snow. After
such a struggle, of course, she’ll sleep soundly now that she has a nice bed.“
Madeline walked to Jeremy and sat down next to him. She then let out a sigh, “I thought she regretted what she did
