Chapter 762
Michael quickly left the room.
After he did, Sean couldn’t afford to waste any time. “Kirk, you have to make a decision. You can either let Caroline
suffer in pain or … let her forget about you.”
Gwen held her breath, looking at Kirk nervously. At this moment, she didn’t know what choice Kirk would
make.
If he truly loved Caroline, whatever decision he made would be painful for him.
Time passed, and Gwen felt as if a century had passed.
She heard Kirk’s voice, filled with pain. “Get her to… forget about me.”
After saying that, Kirk visibly became haggard.

After a while, she couldn’t help but ask, “Is there really no other choice?” Her voice was shaky.
Sean looked at her. “Since he made his decision, we’ll leave the room.”
Gwen looked reluctantly at Caroline, who was lying on the bed. She took a while to leave the consultation
room.
Just as she was about to turn around and take one last look at Caroline, the door closed behind her.
Gwen asked nervously, “What is Kirk doing?”
Sean glanced at his friend through the glass. “Don’t worry. He just wants to say goodbye to Caroline.”
When Gwen heard that, her chest tightened.
In the consultation room, Kirk took, Caroline’s hand. He placed it carefully on his palm and stroked her
hand slowly.
As time passed, he felt his chest ache in pain.
“Darling, you’ll definitely remember me, right? I believe in you,” he said, putting Caroline’s hand on his
cheek.
He carefully gripped her hand to let her feel his soft skin.
Seemingly feeling something in her sleep, Caroline furrowed her brows again.

Five minutes quickly passed, and Michael walked back into the room.
Looking at Kirk, who was reluctant to leave, he reminded, “Kirk, it’s time for you to leave.”
After taking one last look at Caroline, Kirk hid the redness in his eyes and looked up at Michael.
“I’m leaving her in your hands. If anything happens to her, you’ll join her in the afterlife!”
“Got it,” Michael replied.

have used all his energy to walk.
When he walked out of the door, his legs turned to jelly, and he almost fell. Fortunately, Sean noticed him
and quickly grabbed him.
The door to the treatment room closed, and everyone outside the door remained silent.
After waiting for what seemed to be a lifetime, the door opened again.
Then, Michael left the treatment room and took off his mask.
For once, he didn’t know if he should give the good news or the bad news.
“The treatment was successful, but I can’t guarantee how much she can still remember. We can only find out when
we do some tests after she wakes up.
“But there’s one thing I’m sure of. She has definitely forgotten about Mr. Morrison Senior’s death.”
“Does that mean…” Gwen secretly glanced at Kirk hopefully. “She might remember what happened before he
died?”
