Chapter 1483 Surprise Visit
"Daddy, Mommy is the best. They're all praising Mommy!" Gregory's cheeks were pink
from the excitement, to which Nicholas nodded in agreement as well.
Then, Tessa was pulled aside by Sofia, "Tonight's performance was a success! You've given
me such a big surprise. It seems that handing Group Two over to you was the right thing to
do."
"It's all thanks to your guidance." Tessa was humble, but the smile on her face hinted at
her real feelings.
Sofia laughed out loud, "You are still far too humble for your own good."
The others all joined in on the laughter when they heard that comment.
After that, Sofia waved her off and said, "Alright, you don't need to stay here with us. Head
backstage and check on the orchestra members. I'm sure they're all eagerly awaiting your
affirmation right now."
Tessa nodded and bid goodbye politely to everyone.
Meanwhile, members of Group Two were almost done packing their belongings backstage.
When they saw Tessa enter, they all stood up and greeted her respectfully, "Miss Tessa's

"Great job, everyone! I just came over from Miss Hathaway. She said the performance was
very successful, and several maestros were praising us!"
Tessa grinned from ear to ear as she announced the news to the group. Then, her eyes
softened, and her smile deepened as she watched all the members cheer at the news with
joyful hearts.
After all, she had put in her blood, sweat, and tears these two weeks to compose new
music for the performance.
A moment later, she was about to announce the celebration party since the members had
calmed down.
Yet, to her surprise, the quiet members suddenly turned rowdy.
She couldn't catch on to their reaction and asked in confusion, "What's wrong?"
"Miss Tessa, look behind you," the lead violinist reminded her with a mischievous wink.
So, Tessa turned around to see Nicholas standing not far away in a black suit holding a
bouquet of roses.
Beside him was Gregory, who was also wearing a child-sized suit.
"Mommy!" Gregory's sweet voice made her heart melt.
Tessa was pleasantly surprised. "When did you get here? Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because we wanted to give Mommy a surprise," Gregory said as he ran into Tessa's
embrace.
Then, Nicholas followed after him and handed the bouquet over as he spoke,
"Congratulations. The show was a success, and the songs were fantastic."
Tessa took a whiff of the flowers before looking up at him and flashing him a sweet smile.
"Thank you."
He couldn't resist and lowered his head to kiss her on the forehead as he watched her
smile. Then, he asked in his magnetic voice, "What's next?"
"Oh, it's nothing. Just the celebration party," Tessa replied truthfully.
Nicholas nodded in acknowledgment and diverted his gaze to the members of Group Two
standing beside them.
The conductor got the hint in his gaze and stood up with a smile, saying, "Miss Tessa, I'm
sure it was difficult to be separated from President Sawyer for so long. But, since your
family is here, you should return with him and the children. The concertmaster and I will

Everyone else went along with him and urged Tessa to leave.
Alice also persuaded her, "That's right. Tessa, have fun with President Sawyer. I'll be here,
so things will be fine."
Tessa couldn't resist their kindness. Besides, she didn't really want to refuse their
suggestions, so she announced, "Thank you, everyone. I'll take my leave, then. I'll treat
everyone another day!"
She swept her gaze across the members gratefully.
Nicholas was also very pleased with the outcome. So, he declared as he wrapped an arm
around Tessa, "I'll get my assistant to bring everyone to a hotel under the Sawyer Group
for the celebration. The celebration party is on me."
"Thank you, President Sawyer!" Alice was the first to come to her senses and thanked him
cheerily.
The rest were also excited since the hotel under the Sawyer Group would at least be a 5-
star hotel.
As they left the theater, Tessa finally inquired, "Where's Gordon?"
