Chapter 5575
It was also the same curse that made it impossible for Scitalis to leave the abyss, which
was why he had been trapped there for so long. He was no stranger to magic powers.
Thus, he was nothing but shocked at the sight of Rachelle exploding with magic.
Amidst his shock, Scitalis tried to stop, but it was too late.
In the blink of an eye, the protective shield collided heavily with Scitalis' enormous form in
a deafening rumble that shook the entire cave.
Scitalis was sent stumbling backward from the force, but Rachelle remained hovering
silently in mid-air, unharmed as the protective shield shattered around her.
Debra's expression morphed into one of shock as she stared intently at Rachelle in
disbelief. 'How did she cultivate such powers? She's incredibly strong.'
Just as Debra was shocked, Rachelle bit her lip as she soared into the air, landing firmly
onto Scitalis’ back before gripping her long sword and driving it seven inches down.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThere was an ancient saying that striking a snake seven inches below its head would kill it.
Despite Scitalis being so gigantic, there had to be some sense in that quote.
However, before Rachelle could strike, Scitalis' gigantic form shrunk rapidly as he
morphed into his previous form once again. He threw himself onto the ground, beginning
to beg over and over again.
"Please forgive me, Fairy, forgive me..."
He knocked his head onto the pavement, bowing as he begged.
What was going on? Why did the beast suddenly grow so scared of Rachelle?
Rachelle gripped her long sword, her brows arched suspiciously. "Fairy? Forget it. Your
tricks aren't going to work on me. Useless monsters like you don't do any good for the
world if you're allowed to live."
As the words rang through the air, Rachelle landed onto the ground, the tip of her sword
aimed right at Scitalis’ chest.
Just then, Scitalis was scared out of his wits as he lay on the ground, begging once again.
"Fairy... You really won't be able to get out of here if you kill me."
To tell the truth, Rachelle was no match for Scitalis with their strength levels, but he was
banished into the abyss by Yennie all those years ago, and it had traumatized him deeply.
More importantly, the curse on Scitalis could only be broken with magic powers.
Rachelle stopped at the last word, an unreadable expression passing across her features.
Yes, the abyss was incredibly deep. There was no way her and Debra would be able to get
out of here in their state.
At the thought, Rachelle glanced at Debra as her gaze sparked questioningly.
Debra walked over slowly, giving it some thought before asking Scitalis, "Do you know
how to get out of here?"
Scitalis nodded repeatedly, his demeanor devoid of any of his previous arrogance and
smugness. "Yes, yes... As long as

I change my form, I'll be able to fly all of us up there."
Rachelle and Debra exchanged a glance at his response, their gazes full of suspicion.
The next second, Rachelle could not help but cry out, "How dare you still lie to us when
you're seconds away from your last breath, you animal?! Why would you be stuck here if
you could just fly out anytime?"
As the words rang through the air, Debra nodded as well." Full of lies. Yes, we'd better just
kill you."
Rachelle bobbed her head, raising her long sword once again.
Scitalis was filled with fear as he scrambled to reply," Please hold on, Fairy. There's a curse
on me, you see. That's why I can't get out. I can only do that if I break the curse."
A curse?
Debra and Rachelle both stopped short. Before they could question Scitails further, he told
them everything that had happened all those years ago in detail.
Toward the end, Scitalis cast a glance at Rachelle as he lowered his head in remorse.
"It was the Godly Region fairy, Yennie Johnson, who exiled me here. You've got powers,
Fairy. You'll be able to break my curse for sure."
As he spoke, Scitalis continued to speak in a sincere tone.
"If you agree to help me, I'll be your servant for as long as you live. I swear on this."
