Chapter 5353
She knew Archfiend Antigonus was a strict man, but she did not expect him to punish her
in that manner. She had lost all power and would be imprisoned. It was an even worse fate
than death.
Morticia wanted to beg for mercy in her panic, but she stopped herself before she could
say anything.
She was the most familiar with Archfiend Antigonus. He would not spare her if she begged
for mercy in that situation. She was concerned that she would face harsher punishment in
the end. 1 "Your Excellency!" Forsythe was shocked. He quickly knelt on the ground and
pleaded, "Your Excellency, please forgive me. Her Majesty just said that the whole thing
was a mistake. She did not mean to be pregnant with Darryl's child.
"It's all Darryl's fault. Please, forgive Her Majesty..."
Forsythe had a panicked expression on his face because he was worried about Morticia. He
would still be a nameless pirate leader if it were not for her.
Morticia could be said to have given him everything he had then. As a result, when he saw
Morticia being punished, he could not stand by and watch.
"What's the matter?"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtWhen he saw him pleading, Archfiend Antigonus' face grew even colder. He smirked and
said, "Do you have any reservations about my judgment? Do you think I was too harsh?"
When Archfiend Antigonus spoke, his eyes were filled with murderous intent.
No one in the fiend race dared to question Archfiend Antigonus' words as Archfiend
Antigonus of the fiend race. However, the person in front of him dared to intercede on
Morticia's behalf. He was flirting with death.
Feeling the killing intent emanating from Archfiend Antigonus, Forsythe could not help but
gulp, and a chill ran up his spine from the soles of his feet.
Morticia's body trembled. She quickly said to Forsythe, "Don't say anything. Apologize to
His Excellency." Others might not know what kind of a person Archfiend Antigonus was,
but Morticia knew him all too well.
Anyone who dared to defy his will would suffer the consequences.
When Forsythe heard that, he wiped the cold sweat from his brow and said to Archfiend
Antigonus, "I dare not..." "Then what are we waiting for? Take Morticia to the water
dungeon, and then come back to see me. I have something important to ask you to do."
"Yes, Your Excellency!"
Forsythe would not go against his will. He quickly responded and led Morticia out of the
hall.
At that moment, Morticia did not dare to struggle at all. She knew nothing could be fixed,
but she still had some hope in her heart. She said to Archfiend Antigonus, "Your
Excellency, I have been hiding it from you all this time. It's my fault that you want me
locked up in the water dungeon, but there is one thing that I hope you can do for me."
"Tell me!" Archfiend Antigonus responded indifferently, his face expressionless.
Taking a deep breath, Morticia pleaded with him. "I only hope that you can save the child
as soon as possible."
Archfiend Antigonus's eyes flickered as he said indifferently, "You don't have to worry
about that. I know what I’m doing." When he spoke, his face was cold, but his eyes flashed
with complex emotions.
'What a b*stard! How dare he screw my most trusted subordinate! I will never let him go!'
He had made up his mind that since the child's father was Darryl, and he was related to
Ambrose by blood, he could take advantage of that to cause conflicts in the world of
cultivators.
Morticia realized she could not say anything after hearing his response. She took a deep
breath and followed Forsythe out of the hall.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmOutside, Forsythe asked, "Your Majesty, what should we do now? Are you really powerless
now? Why don't we leave and rebuild the Sea Dragon Palace on our own? Why do we have
to work for him and suffer that?"
Forsythe's expression was solemn when he said that.
Forsythe still had no idea who Archfiend Antigonus was. He only felt mortified that Morticia
had handed over the power of the Sea Dragon Palace to that person, and she was too
humble to agree to his requests. Even if Forsythe was only Morticia's subordinate, he could
not stand Archfiend Antigonus' treatment of her.
Morticia was the one in whom Forsythe truly believed. Even if Archfiend Antigonus was
more powerful, Forsythe found it difficult to follow him willingly. He had decided that as
long as Morticia said anything, he would do anything.
"Shut up!"
Morticia's pretty face changed when she heard what Forsythe said. "Do not say that
again," she reprimanded quickly. Forsythe was utterly insane. How could he possibly
consider betraying Archfiend Antigonus?
"Why?"
Forsythe could not help but look around the hall with a puzzled expression on his face.
