Chapter 5322
No matter the truth, Darryl Darby had to die.
At the thought, Vincent roared angrily, "Kill this man, everyone!"
As the words rang through the air, he exploded with internal energy as he gripped his long
sword, charging in Darryl's direction.
To Vincent, Martin was still the head elder of the Heavenly Ocean Sect at the end of the
day. Despite being surrounded by a few people, his life would not be at risk for a short
time.
Thus, what mattered most was not joining the battle but getting rid of Darryl first.
The thought of Gigi turning down his proposal because of Darryl and his junior brother,
Sherman, dying a tragic death in the underground town because of Darryl filled Vincent
with an uncontrollable rage.
At the same time, the Heavenly Ocean Sect elites soared into the air and charged in
Darryl's direction.
They were all mighty men, and exploding together made the atmosphere in the sky
constrict with a terrifying force.
F*ck!
It seemed like the worst was far from over.
At the sight of Vincent and the rest rushing over, Darryl stood rooted to the spot with an
expression devoid of panic. Instead, there was fury.
Vincent really had a death wish, did he not?
Darryl did not get back at him for trying to take advantage of Gigi back at the North Star
Galaxy and pinning the blame onto Darryl, nor did he care when Vincent tried to pick a
bone with him in the underground town.
However, Vincent was still trying to pester him constantly. Did he really think that Darryl
was so easy to step on?
At the thought, Darryl's gaze grew cold as he soared into mid-air, raising his right arm
slowly.
"Ascension of the Nine Dragons." 2
The next second, the words were spat out of Darryl's mouth coolly. All that could be seen
was the air in front of him ripping into half before nine golden dragons tore out of thin air.
The Ascension of the Nine Dragons was the first skill that Darryl had picked up when he
had just become a cultivator. It involved forming golden dragons with internal energy,
which was terrifyingly powerful. Darryl had used that move to turn the tables on many
battles.
When he used the skill with a sage body and magical powers, the force that the move
exploded with was nothing short of terrifying.
Hiss...
The second the Nine Dragons appeared in the air, everyone, including Vincent and the
Heavenly Ocean Sect elites, had a huge shock.
What skill was that?
It had such a powerful aura...
Amidst their terror, many people prepared to run, but it was too late.
"Die!"
Darryl roared, raising his hand to point it toward Vincent and his men.
As the words rang through the air, the nine golden dragons charged into the throng of
people. In an instant, over a hundred Heavenly Ocean Sect elites let out anguished cries
before collapsing in pools of their own blood.
Vincent was no exception to it. He collided heavily with one of the dragons, sending him
flying over a hundred meters and crashing into a good number of trees before collapsing
against the ground.
"Ugh..."
Upon landing, fresh blood instantly sprayed out of Vincent's mouth as his face paled. He
looked impossibly weak, staring at Darryl and unable to hide his shock.
"Is this... Is this how strong Darryl actually is?"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHow powerful. It was utterly beyond his imagination...
Vincent clearly felt that all the meridians in his body had been completely destroyed, and
his elixir field was severely injured. Under the circumstances, even the most powerful gods
would find it difficult to save him.
Finally, the nine golden dragons slowly disappeared.
Darryl glanced at Vincent with an expression cold as ice, leaving without saying another
word.
Vincent had been significantly wounded by the Ascension of Nine Dragons, and he would
not have much longer to live. There was no need to waste any further time on him. What
mattered most was finding the right place to build the Chaos Transportation Array.
In the blink of an eye, Darryl had disappeared beyond sight.
Vincent lay watching his retreating figure, unable to return to his senses for a long time.
He had finally realized then who he had been messing with.
Unfortunately, it was too late to regret it anymore.
A few minutes after Darryl left, the sect elites that had been killing and striking at each
other by the river slowly woke up.
What... What was going on?
Upon waking up and taking in their surroundings, everyone could not help but stop in
shock as their minds went blank.
