Chapter 4834
"F*cking hell!"
Half an hour passed quickly enough, and Herod grew impatient, seeing that Darryl had still
yet to lead them to the room the treasure was in.
Herod yelled, "Do you actually know where the treasure is, man? Are you trying to trick
me?"
Uhh...
Darryl scratched his head, putting on an expression of great fear.
"No, of course not. It's dark now, and the Stanford household is huge. I've barely been
here for three days, so I don't really know what the place looks like properly.
"Don't worry! Old Master Stanford showed me the treasure the other day, and I know
which room he's hidden it in. I'm sure I'll be able to find it."
Herod's expression cooled slightly upon hearing Darryl's explanation.
However, he still barked impatiently, "Well, hurry up! Don't waste my time." "Yes, yes!"
Darryl scrambled to answer, bringing them around the house once again.

Quickly enough, they reached the Stanford altar. Darryl stopped in his tracks and said,
“This is it."
As he spoke, Darryl's face flashed with an unreadable expression.
Darryl had familiarized himself with the place decently enough when he brought Herod
and his men around. He knew that only the altar had a more complicated layout than the
rest of the household.
All he had to do was put in a bit of elbow grease, and he would be able to trap Herod and
his men.
'The altar?'
Herod pondered to himself as his gaze flashed excitedly. ’The Old Man Stanford's quite the
trickster! I can't believe he'd keep the treasure here, of all places."
As he spoke, Herod ordered his men impatiently. 'Search the room, all of you!"
The men behind him charged into the altar to comb the place.
Herod cast a glance at Darryl as he spoke in a firm tone. "You get in there and look too.
You'll surely be getting something from this if you find it."
As he spoke, he gave Darryl a little shove as they made their way to the altar.
Whew!
Darryl could not help but take a deep breath at the sight that bestowed him.
All that could be seen was that the altar was enormous, and there was a huge table placed
northward of the place. A few plaques of the Stanford ancestors were laid on the table. On
each side of the tables were no less than a hundred chairs backed up against the walls
lined with tales and musings of the Stanfords' history.
Herod and his men looked in places where the treasure could possibly be hidden.
The Stanford family was an ancient family, indeed.
Darryl spotted the plaques and murmured to himself, 'So sorry for the intrusion. I mean no
disrespect. I'm only doing this to save the Stanfords.'
As he did so, Darryl pretended to flip the plaques over as he pretended to complain, "That
Old Stanford geezer is cunning as hell. I'm pretty sure he’s hidden the treasure
underneath or behind something."
Herod watched coldly from the side as all of that happened.
Upon doing so, Darryl came up with nothing. Thus, he began to start flipping the chairs
over, pretending to try extremely hard at searching.
"Go on, keep looking!" Herod said impatiently.
What Herod did not know then was that he had completely fallen for Darryl's ploy. Darryl

a Five Delusions Formation.
It was Darryl's plan from the start. His fairy soul was locked up, so there was no way he
would be able to take Herod and his men down with his bare fists. All he could do was rely
on a formation to trap the lot of them.
As the Stanfords were in the grand hall, Darryl had chosen to lead Herod and his men all
the way to the back of the area.
In no time, the Five Delusions Formation had been completed. Darryl's mouth ticked up in
a smile.
The surrounding Snow Wolf Mountain men had not found a single thing.
One of them walked over and said, "Sir! Aside from the ancestral plaques, there are only
some prayer paraphernalia. We haven't found anything else."
Motherf*cker!
Herod's expression darkened as he stared Darryl down. "Are you sure this isn't a trick,
young man?" 'This idiot!'
Darryl smirked. Any trace of the submissiveness he had shown previously had disappeared
entirely. "Yes, it is, but what are you going to do about it?"
He turned and walked out of the area within the Five Delusions Formation as he spoke.
Herod and his men were trapped in the formation by then. Darryl had nothing to fear.
