Chapter 4626
That would not do!
Darryl calmed down quickly enough. He was there to get intel, not pretend to be Master
Magaera and canoodle with Empress Heidi.
Darryl put on his best imitation of Master Magaera's voice and asked, "Your Majesty, did
you say you wanted to incorporate the Ancient Ancestor's fairy soul with your own?"
Yes!
Empress Heidi did not think that there was anything wrong with the Master Magaera in
front of her. She nodded without hesitation. "I thought about it the whole day. I really did.
'I'm only doing that to prevent Lute Belle from trying anything. Think about it! She's an
otherworldly god, and she's incredibly powerful. What am I going to do if she insists on
making Aurin the Emperor? This is the best solution; I have to make myself as powerful as
possible.'
Empress Heidi's speech was slurred slightly from drunkenness, but her tone sounded
determined.

coming from, Your Majesty, but have you thought about the consequences? How would the
people look at you if they found out what you did?" "After all, the Ancient Ancestor is the
late Emperor's master. It's the same as harming your own master. How will you make the
people listen to you if you do that, even if Auten becomes the Emperor?
'Also, Lute Belle will make a big deal out of that. It’s too big of a risk, Your Majesty!"
Darryl spoke in Master Magaera's voice, but the thoughts were his own.
The Godly Region relied heavily on the Ancient Ancestor, after all. How could Empress
Heidi destroy him like that?
Well...
Empress Heidi’s eyebrows furrowed as she fell into deep thought.
Seeing her hesitation, Darryl pounced on the opportunity. He continued to say, "Don't
worry, Your Majesty. I'll do my best to make Auten the Emperor.' "Alright!”
Empress Heidi was overwhelmed with emotion; she sighed with a smile.' I'll listen to you. I
will not do that."
Relief washed over Darryl instantly. Thank goodness. His presence there was not a waste
of time after all.
Then, Darryl said, "It's late, Your Majesty. You're drunk; you should get some rest. I'd better
get going too." As he spoke, Darryl prepared to move away.
However, before she could get far enough, Empress Heidi wrapped her arms tightly
around Darryl without any intentions of letting go. Her exquisite features seemed
seductive. "I won't let you go. Stay and spend the night with me?" 'F*ck me!’
Darryl got the fright of his life, and he was torn between laughter and tears.
He had taken enough risks pretending to be Master Magaera. He would be done for if he
stayed the night and the truth got out.
At the thought, Darryl scrambled to say, 'That's not very appropriate, Your Majesty. Let's-"
Empress Heidi cut him off before he could even finish his sentence. "It's appropriate if I
say it is. You're a man, aren't you, Magaera? What's with the cowardly behavior? I'm not
even scared; why are you?
'Also, no one can come in here without my orders. I insist you stay the night and leave

Empress Heidi tugged at Darryl's hand, heading for the bed.
Darryl felt his brain draw a blank as he lost his cool.
They were headed toward the bed. Did that mean-
Darryl tried to turn and leave. Yet his arm was firmly in Empress Heidi's grasp, impossible
to shake off.
"Magaera!"
Empress Heidi lay on the bed, pillowing her cheek against Darryl's thigh. Her drunken
expression was laced with lust. "Come talk to me, please. I've been so lonely the past few
days."
Darryl nearly jumped out of his skin; he was in no mood to talk. However, he was there,
and there was nothing else he could do but grit his teeth and talk to Empress Heidi.
It was unclear how long had passed, but Empress Heidi finally fell asleep.
'F*cking hell!'
Darryl heaved a sigh of relief. It was finally over.
He climbed off the bed carefully and slipped out of the chambers.
