Chapter 4160
Noticing Oliver, Darryl did greet him warmly. "What are you doing here?"
'What did you tell my father after he woke up?” Oliver said.
Given his bad temper, the Black Tortoise King would never agree to meet Archfiend Antigonus.
However, after speaking to Darryl, he met Archfiend Antigonus which was out of character.
Oliver never intended to question Darryl, but when he attacked the Black Tortoise King, he used it to
threaten the Black Tortoise race to surrender to the fiend race. That made Oliver feel unsettled and
his worry worsened as the Black Tortoise King acted out of character. Therefore, he went to Darryl to
clarify the situation.
'What a fool.' Darryl chuckled and said, "I only advised the Black Tortoise King to surrender to
Archfiend Antigonus. What else can I say?"
'Oliver has become a puppet of the fiend race. My plan with the Black Tortoise King is a secret, so
why would I tell him?' Darryl thought.
Oliver did not believe Darryl and scoffed. "Do you think I'm stupid? I know my father's
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtpersonality very well. How could he have easily surrendered himself to Archfiend
Antigonus? I bet there's something going on between the two of you."
’D*mn it. What?' Darryl frowned and did not want to speak to him any longer. "It's up to
you to believe me or not. If you'd like to, you can ask your father. Stop bugging me."
Then, he walked out of the tent instantly.
At that moment, Oliver felt embarrassed after being ignored by Darryl and turned red in
the face. However, he was further assured of the existence of a secret between Darryl and
the Black Tortoise King.
Quickly, Oliver gathered his thoughts and murmured to himself as he watched Darryl walk
away, "No matter what you and my father are planning, I'll find out and when I do, get
ready for your doomsday, Darryl."
Then, he pushed the wheelchair out of the tent.
Meanwhile, Darryl strolled around the camp and returned to the tent. As he arrived, he
saw the Black Tortoise King coming back.
"How was it? Did you find out the method to resolve the Innate Formation? ' Darryl asked
impatiently.
The Black Tortoise King scratched his head and forced a smile. "I'm not sure if I got it right,
but I've memorized everything Archfiend Antigonus said."
Then, he told Darryl about how Archfiend Antigonus delegated the military strength in
detail. In the end, he took out a dagger and drew a sand plate on the ground as he
explained, "This is what the sand plate in the tent looked like. I memorized all of them."
Looking at the sand plate, Darryl was excited. He had reached a peak level in the
attainments of formations and he figured out the method to resolve the Innate Formation
after finding out how Archfiend Antigonus delegated the military strength and looking at
the sand plate.
Subsequently, Darryl told the Black Tortoise King to guard the entrance of the tent and he
started writing a letter. He wrote the method to resolve the formation in detail.
Then, he and the Black Tortoise King went to rest as they waited till the sky turned dark. The fiend
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmrace camp was heavily guarded and it was extremely difficult to send the letter to the Nine Heaven
Emperor. Perhaps they would get the chance to do that when the sky turned dark.
A few hours later, the sky gradually darkened. Darryl informed the Black Tortoise King and they
snuck out of the fiend race camp in the dark. They walked towards the Imperial Sky Palace.
As Darryl approached the Imperial Sky Palace, he was baffled by what appeared before him and he
did not know how to react.
The entire Imperial Sky Palace was guarded by tens of thousands of Grand Weapons and generals
with four lines of defense. The place was heavily guarded and impenetrable.
A few seconds later, Darryl snapped out of it and started to worry. He certainly could not barge into
the Imperial Sky Palace when it was being heavily guarded. The Nine Heaven Emperor had publicly
stated that he was an impersonator of Darryl. He might not only end up failing to pass the letter to
the Nine Heaven Emperor, but he would also alarm the fiend race.
As he wondered, Darryl could only stroll around to look for opportunities. Suddenly, his eyes
flickered and not far away, a patrol team made up of dozens of Grand Weapons walked towards him.
The leader looked solemn and charming.
He was Solar General, whom Darryl had once met.
