Chapter 3409
Angeline's exquisite face was flushed red with shame and anger.' That man is crazy if he thinks I'll spend the
night with him. I'm the Queen's sister, not some whore!" 1
When Dennis hesitated, Butch lost it and shouted, "Don't test my patience! Do you or do you not agree to my
demands?"
"Well — " Dennis' heart was beating wildly as he wiped the sweat off his forehead. "I'll give you one of my men,"
he said in an aggrieved tone. He wanted nothing more than to go head-to-head with Butch but knew he would
never win in a fight with an opponent more powerful than him. He might even lose his life.
Dennis flicked his gaze until it landed on Darryl. "Take him!"
'He's not one of mine. I won't suffer any losses if I give him up,' Dennis thought. He planned to use Darryl as a
stalling tactic.

'D*mn you, Dennis. You really know how to choose! We wouldn't have landed into this
mess if you weren't trying to look good in front of Angeline. And now you want to sacrifice
me?' Darryl thought angrily.
"You—" Angeline whimpered.
"There's too many of them, Princess. We can't win. We should do everything we can to get
into the other party's good graces. This guard is nothing but a weakling, so there's no
need to grieve over his impending death," Dennis said quietly.
"At the end of the day, he is still a member of the palace staff," Angeline said. She did not
want to give up the guard о a bunch of bandits for fear of losing her dignity.
At the thought of Angeline's compassion, Darryl breathed a sigh of relief and felt slightly
better. At least there was still a little bit of humanity in her. After some thought, he said,
"Fine, I'll go." He slowly made his way over to Butch.
A smile appeared on Dennis' face. "Good man! You can rest in peace with the knowledge
that your death means that the rest of US can live."
Angeline started stomping her feet on the ground in panic, she wanted to stop Darryl but
stopped herself when she caught a glimpse of Butch's evil face.
"That settles it then!" Butch said with a smile. He nodded happily at Darryl while praising
him. "I like your bravery." Then he turned to Dennis and said, "What about the girl? Are
you going to give her up or what?"
"There's no need to rush, Your Excellency. Let me try to persuade her," Dennis said quickly.
Angeline became even more panicked. "Are you going to turn me over to him? My sister
will hunt you down till the end of the world if you do that."
"Princess! This is only a stalling tactic. You have to calm down," Dennis said with teary eyes.

Dennis was trying to persuade Angeline, so he decided to give them some time.
Then, Butch pointed at Darryl and said, "Chop off his head to send a message to anyone who dares to cross the
Blood Wolf Group!" His subordinates drew their swords and surrounded Darryl.
Darryl was still very calm. "You're from the Blood Hand Organization, right?" he asked just as they pointed their
swords at him. Even though he did not ask in a loud voice, Butch could hear him clearly.
Darryl was confident he was right because apart from the wolf- head mark on Butch's forehead, he also saw the
bloodied hand mark on the right side of his neck. In that instant, he knew that Butch was a Blood Wolf Group
team leader and a Blood Hand Organization member.
"Hold up!" Butch shouted. He quickly walked toward him; his eyes never left Darryl's face, "what did you say?
How do you know I'm a Blood Hand Organization member?" Only a handful of people knew he had joined the
organization half a year ago, so did Darryl know that?
