Chapter 31 A Phone Call
Ms. Alexandra’s face was dark, and she laughed gloomily.
“Well, young man, I’d like to see what you will do.” Ms. Alexandra said, her eyes becoming sharper and
sharper.
“I’ll beat Mr. Dennis on the ground again. If you insist on helping him, I’ll put your pretty face in the
urinal.” Nathan said. thoughtfully.
Dennis was furious, and he didn’t expect Nathan not to take him and Ms. Alexandra seriously.
When Brinn saw this scene upstairs, she said, “It’s a big trouble, I’ll call Ms. Alexandra.”
Natasha smiled and said, “Don’t call her. What an interesting thing, and let’s watch the fun.”
Brinn shook her head and said, “It’s Miss Perkins who broke the contract first, so she must feel a little
guilty. Now that Nathan
encounters such a big trouble, if something happens to him, Miss Perkins will be unhappy.”
“Jade is really kind–hearted. If there is such a pretentious man around me, I won’t care about him at all.”
Natasha picked up
the red wine and shook her head.
Currently, the atmosphere below was extremely tense.
When Ms. Alexandra was about to speak, her phone rang, and it was Brinn.
She frowned and answered it.
“Ms. Alexandra, let him go. I’ll owe you a favor,” Brinn said coldly.
“Do you know him? Since you have said this, it’s okay.” Ms. Alexandra smiled slightly after hearing this.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtBrinn said, “Thanks, Ms. Alexandra.”
Ms. Alexandra said, “That’s fine.”
Brinn hung up the phone.
“What’s wrong?” Dennis looked at Ms. Alexandra and asked.
Ms. Alexandra put her phone aside and took a deep look at Nathan. She didn’t expect that Brinn would
stand up for him.
Ms. Alexandra waved her hand and said, “Mr. Walter, it’s your fault to step on other people’s feet in the
bathroom.”
“Someone called me about this matter today, let’s stop here.”
While speaking, she was also a little helpless.
Nathan’s arrogance made her very unhappy, but she had to show respect to Brinn.
In other words, she had to show respect to the woman behind Brinn.
After Dennis and others heard this, they were stunned.
Mr. Mandy glanced at Ms. Alexandra in surprise. Nathan had offended Ms. Alexandra, but why did she
let him go after she answered the phone?
“If you dare to make trouble in my bar again, you don’t blame me for not being decent.” Ms. Alexandra
suddenly said.
Sitting on the sofa, Nathan pouted disdainfully. He held a glass of wine and took a slow sip, looking like
he didn’t care at all.
This attitude made Ms. Alexandra full of anger, but she couldn’t do anything.
“I don’t know why Jade’s assistant would speak for you, but I have to give her face. Next time, if you fall
into my hands, I won’t let you go.” Ms. Alexandra’s eyes were gloomy, and she thought.
Dennis gritted his teeth fiercely. He suffered such a big loss today, but he couldn’t do anything.
He didn’t dare to disobey Ms. Alexandra’s orders.
He couldn’t afford to offend the person behind Ms. Alexandra.
“Ms. Alexandra, I do as what you say,” Dennis said in a deep voice.
He waved his hand, and the group of people followed him and left the bar.
After they left, the terrifying pressure Hannah felt immediately disappeared, and her whole body slumped
on the seat.
She glanced at Nathan with some anger. Since this man had offended Ms. Alexandra, she wouldn’t
come to this bar in the
future.
Mr. Mandy walked over and said in a low voice, “Hannah, stay away from this man.”
Mr. Mandy covered his swollen cheeks and left.
After Ms. Alexandra looked at Nathan for a while, she didn’t speak any more. From Brinn’s tone, she
could tell that this man did not have a deep relationship with Brinn.
Therefore, she still didn’t take Nathan seriously.
She would remember what happened today.
“Do you know what you were talking about just now? I was very nervous.” Hannah said with lingering
fear and drank a large
glass of wine.
“It’s just the truth, this woman’s attitude makes me very unhappy,” Nathan said, and took a sip of wine.
Hannah felt surprised. This was the first time she had seen someone be fine after offending Ms.
Alexandra.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAt the same time, she was curious about who called Ms. Alexandra.
“Who called Ms. Alexandra?” Hannah asked, “Mr. Hopp?”
“I don’t know, but it shouldn’t be him.” Nathan shrugged, and he didn’t bother to think about it.
He was full of disdain. It was lucky for Ms. Alexandra to answer the call at a critical moment. Otherwise,
he would let these people know why Mr. Nathan of Devendill Prison would make people frightened when
hearing the name.
“This woman is arrogant because of her backer,” Nathan said.
“What backer do you have to look down on her?” Hannah couldn’t help but ask.
“I’m the strongest backer.” Nathan’s face was full of disdain.
Those felons in prison treated him respectfully. If he was unhappy, he would let one of them out. Those
people would destroy
one’s family in minutes.
Hannah almost spat out the wine in her mouth, and just as she was about to speak, she saw two women
walking down from the
second floor.
One of them had short hair, and she walked with resoluteness. The other had a beautiful appearance
with long hair. She must
come from a wealthy family, and her every move showed wealth and honor.
What surprised her was that the short–haired woman walked towards Nathan.
Nathan raised his brows in disgust, and said, “Did you call Ms. Alexandra just now?”
Hannah was a little surprised. Who was this woman? She knew Nathan and could make Ms. Alexandra
let him go with one
phone call.
Dennis who was arrogant was willing to take a step back after Ms. Alexandra said something.
Who was this woman who could make Ms. Alexandra give in?
