This whole thing was just based on his speculations. He did lack evidence, but his attitude was still
firm.
Leon knew very well that Gilbert was already sure that he was the person behind the kidnapping.

“Iris, are you going to break up with me? I understand if they don’t believe you, but even you?” Leon
looked at Iris, still hopeful.
“Leon, is there any meaning to saying all of that now, when things are already at this stage?” Iris bit her
lips
and said.
